Moderators and stuff like that!
I have no complaints about any mod but I do believe that a club like this needs to change as it grows. Look at all major companies in the UK, they are continually looking at ways to make changes to become bigger better and stronger, just because things have always been done a certain way doesnt mean its the right way for how the club is now. Being brutally honest this club does seem to lack in certain areas, there was a link on here today with baby clothes from another club???? we have not even got a club t shirt, perhaps more people could be asked what they can do for the club, rather than one person sorting out the welcome packs have ten people doing it, things like that. Also Craig David mention about the AGM being held at JAE and perhaps it should be more orientated to being online, I for one struggle to get to JAE because of work commitments and this is afterall an online based club. Just my thoughts for what they are worth, I have been a member for a few years now, mainly offering advice for people having problems, joining in on the banter at times and occasionally chirping up when I think something is wrong or needs saying, I would not want to see this club go downhill in anyway and if changing was to mean that happening then please keep it as it is but I truely believe that with some effort, and not just on one persons behalf but from all the members this club will grow and grow and that means more traders, more members and more awareness of the 300zx, which might even mean the value of our beloved car goes up, but ultimately it will hopefully mean more enjoyment of the 300zx club for all of us.

Head Gasket?
The bubbles would be air :slap: as for water coming out the bottom, if you are being careful and not dripping it down the side of the rad then check the drain plug at the bottom of the rad and the bottom hose if their ok then you need a new rad.
-
Head Gasket?
oh and the heater on hot in the car.
-
Head Gasket?
Check for leaks then let it run with the rad cap off while you squeeze all the water pipes you can see, keep away from the fan obviously, like mark said its a long job, also having the front of the car jacked up can help.

England the Scotts
I have trained a lot of people from Scotland, Wales and Ireland, one thing I always noticed is they are emphatic about where they come from, talk to a Scots man and Scotland is wonderful, best place in the world. Now when I have trained English people they all hate the place want to get out etc etc, thats why English will support any part of the UK, they just dont care so much.

Head Gasket?
And .......... it could have air trapped in the system that caused it to overheat.
-
Head Gasket?
To be honest tho if you have just done some work to the cooling system its more likely to be something you did that caused it to overheat, wether that in turn has blown your headgasket or not???? check what you did to the cooling system, top it up and run it and keep an eye out for leaks.

Head Gasket?
Its an engine out job if its gone, over a grand to repair, get a pressure test done on the cooling system to tell if its gone, usual symptons are white smoke from exhaust, oil goes like mayonaisse.

Moderators and stuff like that!
Would be good if all moderators actually had it written under their avatar and I dont see why they cant be voted in so members can choose who they are and members know who they are, the other day I wanted something done and had to pm chunk as hes was the only person I knew was a moderator. Also a couple of mods on the current list dont actually use this forum much, is it just the list needs updating or is it time to get some new blood in?

Use man pounds when telling the other half, as a rule of thumb if something costs £300 you say its £100, so far to date I have spent a grand total of £7k man pounds. :D

Help, Just Bought A Z Some Has Noises Any Advice?
Well if you want to start tweaking it you need to take care of the cooling system and I would recommend a Koyo rad, think these are available from Greddy so contact him for a price, best advice you will get is to keep the car very well serviced and dont sacrifice that to pay for mods.

Would you want to get a standard rad or uprated, ie, how much you wanna spend :D

Help, Just Bought A Z Some Has Noises Any Advice?
Rads can be repaired but IMO its best to get new, and Koyo or Howe if you can afford it, the AIVs are small plastic things in the inner wings connected to the cats.

Clogged AIVs is normally a gurgling sound from the bottom of the wings, goosehonk is a result of an aftermarket induction and dump/recirc valves
