  1. On the way home today I dropped a cylinder. Thankfully it turned out to be a loose injector connector and upon inspection the retaining clip had broken away. Is it possible to replace these connectors, are they easy to replace and where can I buy them from? Cheers, Chris.
  2. Anyone else en route?
  3. Just setting off now. I’m dashing along the coast to pick up a mate, then a nice drive through the back roads. See you at 9. :cool3:
  4. And I don’t think the majority of people are into customer service (giving it nor paying for it). Most people buying car parts would rather have 5% off than look at a product, talk to a qualified interesting experienced rep. It’s one of the main reason high street shops are being abandoned. I used to love going into my local car parts and audio shop (Less Smith’s rings a bell) when I was a kid.
  5. I was able to get the boys to Hayling Island billy line on a windy afternoon to eat there dinner, watch the red arrows and explain what was going on. They loved it and Archie (who’s 4) could understand the significance of the day. Lest we forget.
  6. I’ve been granted clearance to come along. I’ll be heading up from the Portsmouth area if anyone wants to meet up along the way? 1. Bigh 2. Ianl 3. GSC 4. Kgonzokia 5. Chris
  7. Keep us posted with progress pictures please (not you though Si as that would be very naughty!)
  8. Loving the look of that and will definitely be going out to watch that!
  9. Probably a good thing Tom, I would have ended up buying too much of your odds and sods and had no where to put it all.
  10. Apparently the weather is meant to be good along the south coast tomorrow. Is anyone free for a drive and possibly a bit to eat somewhere. I’m free as a bird tomorrow and it would be great to take the 300 out for a nice drive and meet some new/old faces. I’m happy to drive out of my area so if your free please reply and we will sort out a place from there.
  11. Looking good Andrew. Are you going for the black roof bar or keeping it blue?
  12. Wow, what an adventure Simon. I look forward to a time when I’m able to take on tours like that, I’m very envious, and can’t wait to read up and follow your up to date tour guide here.
  13. I also used roof and gutter seal when I refurbed my rear lights lights last year and have been very happy with the results.
  14. Sadly I’m not but I’m sure we will meet up a few times this year.
  15. Very nice Joely! I’ve subscribed to your YouTube channel. Do you have any plans to change anything on your car now or is that 300zx perfection to you? I’d love to the drone footage around my car on a lovely sunny day. I think it would look great with the colour of my car.
  16. I don’t know him personally but I thought I remember him posting his email address and he has. It’s relating to PayPal but he might read his mail from it so may be worth a try. ……. Last on line a few days ago.
  17. Thanks guys. Had a nice day spent with the wife and boys. Pick of the presents included some new slipper, whiskey and gin. :wheelchair::thumbup:
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum. I can’t tell you much about that car but what does stand out to me is that the wheels are the wrong way round. Its not a big deal but it might be a sign that, although the car has very low mileage, maybe previous owners haven’t been as fastidious as you might think. Good luck with your search.
  19. :tt1: I want a double garage! :cool3:
  20. Jim, you sir are a legend! I left the clutch depressed last night to find that I have full resistance today. Many thanks to everyone for your help.
  21. Lol. Cheers Jim, I’ll give the little bugger another go tomorrow. Does it matter which nipple I bleed it from now? Also I was unable to bleed from the reservoir nipple as I couldn’t get a spanner to it. Is it worth cutting a spanner down to get to this nipple?
  22. I finally got round to bleeding the clutch today. Unfortunately I had to attempt it by myself which made the job very tricky particularly as the car had been pushed into the garage with little space to work around it. The fluid I got out was very black but is now running nice and clear. However although I’ve now got enough on the clutch to move the car the bite point is very low and I still have around 3inches of slack clutch. I’m hoping that I might be able to get some help tomorrow and finish the job off.
  23. Any pictures from those that attended, was it a good day?
