road taxing and MOT
Ok. So how do I get round the problem of insuring the car, then it fails MOT & I decide to scrap it, as the insurance companies usually don't give anything like a pro-rata refund.

road taxing and MOT
Can you tow an un-insured car to MOT station & back after? Car is sorned. I'm hoping that by towing instead of driving there is no law-breaking!

'A' Pillar rubbers
I am getting water into the car through the targa/door window join. have replaced targa rubbers but no better. Can see that inside the 'A' pillar rubber there is a hole which no doubt allows water to drain though the rubber. Is this correct & what's the easiest way to clear out any blockages?

Buying a 'Wheeler Dealer' car!
Anyone have the inside track on what cars are to come up & where they get advertised? Not after anything in particular but might be interested if the 'right' car came along.

NEW series of wheeler dealers.
What warranty did you get from WRC? Not sure of legal position - suggest you contact Trading standards. Was car fit for purpose? Possibly not if it only did 250 miles but WRC could argue you thrashed it/ no oil/ no water etc. Doubt you should have taken it to another garage without getting Trading Standards advice. Good Luck

Help with 'odd' breakdown
Last night car came to a standstill- wouldn't restart. Called recovery who could only take me & car home on back of truck- mechanic not sure what problem was. felt as though dirty petrol (tank had been low earlier & I had put £10 in). Got home, rolled car off truck- got in turned key & hey presto- it started. As it was 4am left it till this morning- started first time -no hestitation at all & drove to work- only 2 miles though. Anyone got any thoughts on this one?
