Groover- do you mean raise the flattened lip which runs top to bottom on the photo? i.e. from centre of car towards the top of the passenger window glass? mine looks same as on photo and water pours in!

I've put several posts up on here as my targas leak like sieves but not been able to resolve the problem. Bought new targa rubbers at approx £100 & made no difference so don't go that route YET!

Anyone got useful tips on products for cleaning then conditioning leather- have heard that detergent-free soap is good for cleaning; is this the same as saddle-soap?

Have seen a private plate I want for my zed. for sale through a dealer. Is there any way easilly of finding out if the plate is advertised through other dealers or preferably a way to contact the seller direct? The plate is an Irish one i.e. --Z 300, with the missing letters being my initials, so good for me particularly, and somewhat less appealing to other Z owners! Any advice appreciated.

May be best to get a new bird!! Have you tried methylated spirit? on the seats that is, not on your bird! A company called Gliptone/ colourwash have a range of leather cleaner, conditioner, & dye products. They advertise in Classic Car weekly.

How easy is it to get such a good finish? Did you remove original covering of velour/tweed or leave it on? What adhesive works best? Have just got new leather seats & want to improve the look of door cards, centre console, dash underneath, & glove box etc!!

Not quite, gary. the last one is closest but I need to see how the 'A' pillar cover & the part that the targa bolt goes into, actually go together. does the latter part overlap the 'A' pillar trim or fit inside it? a photo would answer the question but thanks for trying!

Can someone please post a photo as above. My targas keep leaking. Despite loads of suggestions on here with possible fixes they still pxxs in when it rains. I'm wondering if at some point in the past the 'A' pillar covers & the trim that the targa 'bolts' go into have been removed & not put back correctly. A photo would help me to eliminate that possibility. thanks in advance!

Am sure they made more than £300! But labour costs are never calculated or considered. Did you notice the crappy aerial they left on the car, can't believe this was an original fitment!
