It's called winter: a season of the year when it is likely to be somewhat cooler than other seasons, hence the provision of heating systems in most vehicles built after, say, 1970, and houses built after 1980 (give or take). You will also note that retail emporia offer clothing more suited to the ambient conditions than in ,say, summer, when more flimsy, thinner clothes adorn the shelves & coat hangers of said establishments.

I've used the Gliptone kit on seats in my 300 & 200. The 200 ones were particularly worn & have come up really well for a cost of about only £40 for entire kit. Easy to do if you follow instructions- takes a while coz there are stages to go through but straightforward & rewarding job.

My company sells & installs Hot Tubs & we use a bigger, beefier version of these to help installing Hot Tubs in difficult positions ( such as lowering into gardens from adjoining higher ground). They work a treat!
