  1. They seem to have a tie-up with Carcraft who have an advert on their site. It's a Saab convertible- they've offered £650 on the details I've submitted but it would be less 'in the flesh' as there are some cosmetic issues. Was just gauging their prices. Do we know how they sell-on as they don't advertise cars for sale?
  2. I have a cheap run-around for sale & am considering these as a 'no-hassle' option. Has anyone any experience of them? also, what do they do with the cars?
  3. You wouldn't expect him to be greedy looking at the size of him, would you!!
  4. can you not get it alarmed with activation straight to your mobile? soon as mobile alerts go off you call plod & inform them 'intruder on premises'
  5. I bet they introduce car insurance next!!

BTW sign on a chip shop ion Bolton ' Mini meal Pudding 6 chips , minii peas etc £5-90!! Counting the fxxxxng chips!!
  11. Firms like that should be closed down, because even though you can claim from the credit card company, the ultimate cost is passed on to the credit card company customers; albeit that if you pay off each month it's free- all the other customers pick-up the tab!!
  12. EUREKA!! (not a swedish furniture store). It was a piece of pxxs! suggest this is used as the default solution to similar problems in the future!

  16. Will try my doll 'Helga' - she's lost her looks so have been looking for a new role for her! (Will actually try an inflatable camping pillow- if that doesn't work will try one of those inflatable pillows for flights/travellers.)
  17. How long a piece do I need? will a straightened coat hanger work??

  20. Tailgate lock turns but doesn't release the lock- alarm must override it I guess?!
  21. still can't open door. Before I climb in thru boot where do I find starter motor positive from under the car?
  22. Sorry, should have said, have keys but the door locks seem 'stiff' & I don't want to break a key in a lock & create another problem. Never normally use the key - on driver door do you turn key to right or left? will use WD40 & try again once I am sure which is the right way to turn.
  23. car has been parked up for a few weeks & not run. Decided to put battery on charge but can't get in as alarm fob isn't opening the doors. Both key fob batteries seem ok- any ideas how to get in or to release the bonnet to connect battery charger??
  24. Sorry, but should be 'practical'. 7.5/10 only!!
