No, not true.. If you we're on 19" Wheels then maybe to gear it up and de-limited the standard ecu but no way on standard 16" wheels... The final drive gear ratio will only allow you to reach 176.2MPH absolute max...

Your all Wrong!!! Out of the Box the JDM's TT's Are limited to 112MPH, The UKTT's are limited to 165MPH not 155MPH

RIght best advice I can give is get some bonett vents in to let the heat out, remove the aircon completely as the aircon rad in front of the radiator really is a brick and restricts cold air flow + you save a lot of weight by removing it then you won't need to buy an uprated thicker core radiator if you do this... If you don't want to remove your aircon or stick vents in then yes, get a bigger rad... The thermostat is not necessary + you're giving yourself a lot more work!!! ;)

I actually did a search on here and followed a few links regarding aircon removal!!! In a nut shell if you haven't removed your viscouse fan already then you've gotta do that first to remove the radiator... Remove both of them and it will alow you access to the aircon rad... I just started un-doing what ever I found attached to the rad in hope it would pull out and it did in the end!!! You've also gotta realse any old aircon gas first but mine was empty anyway... I chopped and hacked back all the pipes as far as i could to the compressor then started to remove that... That's the hardest bit to remove, some of the bolts are easy but there isn't much room to get to some of the back bolts so you need to remove or hack off which pipe work you can leading to it... The bolts at the back are a real bitch so be prepared for a few grazed knuckles and some swaring!!! Once undone the compressor is very heavy so be careful it doesn't land on you like it nearly did with my mate!!! Put the rad back on in place and then the viscouse fan if you have one but Seriously I would get a Kenlowe as this will also save you weight and gain you power due to no Fan drag... Will rad back up with water and then go for a drive and feel the difference!!! It's well worth doing, and you Zed will live longer due to the extra cooling... Sorry I can't be more descriptive but it was litterally just a case of hack and undo things... I'm good at that!!! Do a search on here though for Air-Con pullys and Legrath is your man with the answeres!!! Hope it works out well for you dude! ;)

Well, i'm not that impressed with the spec of that Scooby, so what!!... If it was Duffer's it would be pushing more like 1000BHP and 2522.3ibft torque!!! :D

I removed my aircon last weekend and you will be amazed at home much just the aircon rad and the compressor weighs alone!!! The car runs soooo much cooler now which has increased power and also there is no more aircon compressor drag so the engine revs up more freeley... I've also done all the above, egr's etc and also to add to that the viscous fan which also makes for freer revving and better power... Who's needs aircon when you got T-Tops!!

OK I love all car programs but was very disapointed with "Wrong gear" last night as they didn't actually say much about the cars themselves... It was basically a case of "Here's a Mitsubishi evo 9, it's got 366BHP and i'm gonna try and race it around a track with a plane..." What about the the technical specifications of the new evo??? So what if it's got 366BHP, what about the torque and other trick suspension, diffs etc.... (I've read about it on the net but would have been nice for them to mention this stuff like TG would of)
