I don't really know the ledgistics of it but I belive you can get away with it if the exit isn't dead side on to the car it's gotta be pointing a slight towards the back of the car at a slight angle so the gasses flow to the rear of the car... Could be wrong though...

Sod having a massive backbox!!! Just adds more weight and dampens noise... I wanted mine loud and totally free flowing so made my own!!

Apparantly it's illegal in this contry to have a side exit exhaust on a road going car as I was gonna do this on my old S12 Silvia but it would be bloody funny setting fire to pedestrians and small animals when the bugger backfires! :D

Made mine up from scratch using a 3 inch bore straight through to 3" bore back box with bugger all silencing and 5 " tail pipes.... The performance increased from my old Mongoose system and she is fooking loud!!

Actually that's not a bad idea!!! Did this on my old S12 Silvia and Pop Rivited it on to clean up the airflow underneath the car, the aluminium sheets we're realitivly cheap to buy as well but don't know about todays prices!

I'm fed up replacing sqeeky auxilary belts and power steering belts cause the bloody things keep getting wet and waring out!! :slap: Where is the cheapest place I can purchase an engine plastic undertray as I lost mine a while a go... I've looked at courtesy nissan but they still see quiet expensive for what they are too me.... May just have to bit the bullit unless any one has got one on here for sale.... It's just the under engine one I need as i've still got my front one!!! Many thanks... Jon
