I'm fed up replacing sqeeky auxilary belts and power steering belts cause the bloody things keep getting wet and waring out!! :slap: Where is the cheapest place I can purchase an engine plastic undertray as I lost mine a while a go... I've looked at courtesy nissan but they still see quiet expensive for what they are too me.... May just have to bit the bullit unless any one has got one on here for sale....

It's just the under engine one I need as i've still got my front one!!! Many thanks... Jon

I'm gonna try and make one out of aluminium sheeting. I've got access to loads of the stuff at work so might make use of it!

Actually that's not a bad idea!!! Did this on my old S12 Silvia and Pop Rivited it on to clean up the airflow underneath the car, the aluminium sheets we're realitivly cheap to buy as well but don't know about todays prices!

I think a carbon item that replaces both undertrays and extends to be a front splitter would be awesome anyone know someone who could do this?

Yeah, I did! Not knock one OUT!!! :slap:

Hope you cleaned up after yourself!!

Ive been thinking about this for about a year and to cary it on thrugh to the back. Not the length of the car of course.

In fiberglass it shouldnt take too long to do if someone has a ramp. I dont so cant do it.

Would be a wast of time to jack the car up as laying the FG whould be a pain and you wouldnt get the right results.

The other way would be to shrink wrap the area underneath you want to cast and spray sealant foam over the film. When it hardens you should be able to very gently prise it off and take a mold from this.

I knew fixing surfboards and canoes would come in handy one day

I Realise that its best to solve a problem at root cause as youve identified, but i've used a can of the above on all my alternator belts on previous motors and found it handy during winter months!! Even with the trays in place i'd give the belts a squirt while running as the winter draws near, as the belts wear naturally when tightened anyway and a bit of extra stick is always welcome! Most decent factors should stock this.
