  1. I had, actually still got a S12 338BHP Silvia before my Z - it's been totally stripped out - perspex windows and will eat my Z alive! That's all about to change though - gotta turn the Z into the ultimate hooligan machine now!!
  2. Where was everyone this weekend? Had a major trip to do on Sunday so my mate could pick up and old Lotus Elite that he accidently bidded for on e-bay! We did a 751 mile round trip up to Birmingham to get a windscreen for this Lotus then on to Cardif to get the car! Didn't see any 300ZX's on the road's at-all! What was everyone doing!! Oh tell a lie, getting back into Cornwall think I saw one comming in the opposite direction at 4AM in the morning!!

  4. Hello Dave, Weather's a bit muggy at the mo but gonna get really hot down here again soon! T-top off I feel! Yeah the one's on order are the new Baily ones that look a bit like the Blitz Bov's with a funny trumpet at the end for a more agressive dump! My mechanic says he's gonna ditch the standard recirculating Bov's and mount the new one's next to the throttle bodies cause they will work more effiecently. That set-up works very well on my 338BHP Nissan Silvia S12 anyway! We just can't understand why anyone would mount them anywhere else!!

Going to be fitting some Blow off Valve's soon but have noticed on most modified Z'eds people don't mount them directly off the throttle body pipe and normal mount them off the turbo pipe below instead - is there any reason for this?! Is it because it by-passes the re-circulating Bov's? Somebody please help as I need to know the best place put them for maximum effect!!
  6. Spent ages's looking for the right rim for mine so just ordered a set of the old 18" AZEV A's, look a bit Ferrari F40 think Mac1's got them on his Z - they are the *****cks!! Look very good if you're Z is red!!!
  7. Hi Guys, Can anyone help?! Gotta get some new wheels and tyres for my Z, I need to know what’s the max tyre width I can go up to with the standard arches? Is 275/35/10x18” rear’s and 235/40/8.5x18” front’s possible? Much appreciated if someone could let me know what works best with 18” rims!!
  8. E.G.R Exhaust Gas Recirculation, Having these blocked off allows slightly quicker spool up time of the turbos, + stops boost leaks if your EGR's are nackered!!

  10. I'm sure this question has been answered many times before, Next year i'm looking to do some serious mods to my UK 300ZX TT. Have just had my standard turbos repaired with new inserts, housing and 360 Thrust bearings and am wondering which boost controller is best, the Apexi S-AVCR or the Blitz jobie. Current car set up is Blitz Air Filter, Z Center Exhaust system without cats, Irridium Spark plugs Twin HKS Boost guages, EGR Valves Disabled, Running Standard boost (9PSI) I'm also looking for some noisey blow-off valves to replace the standard units so need to know which ones to go for Blitz again or HKS Super SQV. Which makes the best noise and do you fit them where the recirculating ones are now or do you fit them just after the throttle boides and keep the recirculating ones as-well??!! Last question is what is the maximum boost the standard engine will take (Heard it's about 1Bar) before trouble sets in and what BHP figure can I expect with this sort of set up. Engine is Mint... Appriciate the feed back folks!!! :dance:
