  1. When all the work is complete you need to do a boost / air leak check, because if you have inadvertedly caused a leak you will have running problems, and if you don`t have obvious running issues don`t be fooled into thinking all is ok, a small leak will not cause too much problem`s but will increase the amount of turbo lag by virtue of the fact the turbo`s need to fill the leak before they fill the engine ( basically stated non techy ) Jeff TT
  2. Hello matey I will call you in 2 minutes Jeff TT
  3. Flipping heck Harve long time no see, still making zed bits? Jeff TT
  4. We have several aftermarket steering wheels and I am sure one looks similar to those, a bit retro, not sure if you after brand new or used but will take some photo`s and post them tomorrow for you. Jeff TT
  5. The part that breaks is only available with the barrel and cost on the region of £55 from Nissan. If you need one quickly just remove the one from the passenger door lock, how many times do you need to be able to open the doors from the passenger side, they are handed but with a small tab filed off it fits. Jeff TT
  6. Will mail / call you tomorrow. Jeff TT
  7. There are two ways to adjust the window, the window guide is held into the door by 2 adjustable fixings, the lock nuts are loosened and then a screw driver is used to turn the centre bolt in or out. At the top of the door where the window emerges are two adjustable stops, these can be raised or lowered independently and allows you to adjust how high the window goes before it stops, by adjusting them separately you can tilt the window forward or backwards slightly. Of course all these adjustments require the door panel to be fully removed. Jeff TT
  8. There is no wiring loom in the rear of the jap spec zeds for rear fog light. To use the front fog light switch just run a cable from the rear to the relay in the black box under the bonnet on the passenger inner wing. Jeff TT
  9. Legrath is correct in his explaination of the neutral switch when doing a manual conversion, however as your is still an auto the park / neutral switch in the auto box selector could be faulty or disconnected and causing the same problem. You need to check this out on the ConZult, also check the hard idle switch this must be closed at idle or will again advance the timing. Jeff TT
  10. Seriously I dont know? so many owners get so attached to their zed to give up on their car is like a divorce or even a bereavement ! I have many more photo`s of corrosion issues will get a few together. Jeff TT
  11. Sorry should explain, the gasket must of become dislodged when the new turbo`s were fitted by the owner ( yes he did it ) and when the bolts where tightened it crushed the gasket between the flanges. The engine performance was returned to what it should be, now the turbo could spool up and the flange was not leaking. Jeff TT
  12. WINNER :dance::dance::dance: Jeff TT
  13. Nope, another clue is the turbo`s had been recently changed. Jeff TT
  14. Yes the one that goes to the intercooler. Jeff TT
  15. Ohh good guess.........but wrong :D Jeff TT
  16. Ok try this one, foreign object can be just seen down the drivers side turbo as viewed from above, the engine was not boosting well.....at all. Guess what it is? Jeff TT
  17. Remember the corroded floor? the end result after welding Jeff TT
  18. Oh your all so close your so ALMOST there, Ok 21psi with a standard ecu, the cylinder the plug was in had 0 psi compression, bits from the cylinder had gone through the turbo, replacement engine too then:( Nice one Tony and shared with Zogg too Jeff TT
  19. All kind of right, yes it was caused by det but why did it det so bad that it needed the following. Jeff TT
  20. Ok another poser for ya, take a look at the spark plug with the bits missing, see who can guess correctly how the damage occurred and why, it may not be quite what you think.:x: Jeff TT
  21. Not everyone can weld!!! shocking attempt at repairing a front member under the radiator, this after all is where the tension rod bushes bolt onto. The amount of bit needed to be removed to replace the panel Replacement used panel Jeff TT
  22. Not uncommon, but the result of missing lower bolt on starter moter. Jeff TT
  23. Restricted line pressure, poor drive, left unchecked would damage the pump. Jeff TT
  24. A cautionary note to not jack up your zed on the auto box sump! Jeff TT
