  1. Centre section is not the cats, they are located in the down pipes, and at present are reaching around £15 to £20 each! Jeff TT
  2. If all you want to do is to release the fuel pressure to change the fuel filter leave the car overnight with the fuel cap undone, next morning no pressure! but be aware fuel will run out of the filter when undone. Jeff TT
  3. Whilst been torqued up. Jeff TT
  4. Changes to things such as decat, induction kits etc. are dealt with easily by the ecu self learn, things such as injector change requires a map suitable for larger fuel supply, your ecu map should be fine, however after such a job ( engine swap ) a full ConZult diagnostic and boost leak check would be advised to be sure all is all at its best. Jeff TT
  5. Ok to anyone who has recently purchased a rear camber correction kit pictured below on E-bay and have it fitted need to urgently check the fixing bolts that were supplied with the kit. There is a problem, I have made the seller aware of but as of yet had no reply, the bolt grade is possibly incorrect, this has the potential for early bolt failure, we have evidence of this and would like to just make every one aware, sure the supplier will be just as concerned ( hopefully ) will be contacting them again tomorrow and will update on their reply. Jeff TT
  6. That is stange, even cheap HID should be better than standard, and dont be fooled by branded HID kist either usually rebadged one from China! in fact teh slim balast ones now available for the £20 to £35 area are great quality and at a cost that is well affordable, bear in mind when I fitted my first HID kit in 9 years ago the kit was £350 and that was trade!! still working though !! Possibly was the wrong kit or the bulbs had not been inserted correctly (common ) Jeff TT
  7. Absolutely !! get it done tomorrow, can supply all the parts you need for less than a grand............. now back to the real world, no need to get the chip swapped, nothing has changed to the engine and the ecu runs the engine! Jeff TT
  8. Temp sensor connection, you have been right in the area where it is and no oubt has a become a bad connection, this can be the direct cause of the cutting out and smell of fuel and when messing with the ptu connectioned also wiggles the temp connection and makes it good again so when restarting is ok. Jeff TT
  9. Hi Rob, Do you own a Zed? if so any pics.....do you work on zeds in your garage? zeds due a cambelt soon. Jeff TT
  10. From your description your turbo`s are working fine, however you have some issue witn the control of the boost pressure, this could be a simple electrical issue with the detonation circuit giving permenent safety ( lower than standard) level of boost. There also a slight possibilty that you have a leak that is reducing the boost, however this will normally be accompanied by poor running and mpg, and at worse black smoke under load, leaking recirc valves will cause the same but without the running problems or black smoke. What you have is effectively just some minor problem that has a big effect, but unfortunately as most of the issue needs some kind of technical diagnostic unless your mechanically minded I would recommend you get it checked out by someone with the appropriate equipement and knowledge (not a Nissan dealer ), will be quicker in the long run and most likely not that expensive. Jeff TT
  11. Ok matey all the bushes have been presses out and the new ones fitted, packaged and on they way back to you, will let you have the tracking number by pm. Jeff TT
  12. All variants one price £225+vat. Jeff TT
  13. £325 + vat Cheers Jeff TT
  14. Fitting split parts of two different props will be hit and miss as far as balancing as they are set up as a single unit, the famous centre bearing that many of us have experienced has risen in price at Nissan and now the one piece propshaft is the way to go. We can supply the newly fabricated single piece prop shaft for both the N/A auto or manual for £225 + vat this is with your prop in part exchange. As with the TT units the new props are fully balanced and are super smooth in operation, no more centre bearing issues to worry about and at a cost similar if not less expensive than having a new bearing fitted. All of the work is done by our own fabricator so no waiting for delivery from the US and no import duty, and fully warranted. Jeff TT
  15. Real grey area, correct in a way but many testers will let it slide as long as the headlights are set correctly, the problem with HID kits in general is when they are fitted to non xenon headlights, the beam pattern and anti dazzle cut off can be incorrect, luckily the zed headlights take them ok and can be set to not dazzle. Jeff TT
  16. Cleaning the backside of the projector lens is the real answer, the best way is to remove the headlights and dismatle, clean and refit, you will be amazed at the difference with even standard bulbs but with HID its amazing. Take a look into your headlights projector globe, if clean in daylight you should see an inverted image of the bulb, bet though you will be lookinging into a milky white cloud, and thats the problem as it causes massive light scatter, HID been a diiferent heat range is slightly less effected. Jeff TT
  17. Land registry is the quickest way ( see link below ), will have a small fee but will have the full info including if there is any mortgages etc. on the property. Jeff TT http://www.landregistryservices.com/?gclid=CImRtZWS0bECFc8KtAodoygAOQ

  19. It is and he is bluffing ha ha.........not Jeff
  20. Not ofen seen on a zed but these pair of cats had self detonated to the point where there was debris through the rest of the system, not much hope for these pair of pussy`s. Jeff TT
  21. Have airbag modules in stock, will post a picture up for you to see what it looks like. Jeff TT
  22. Bad brakes may not always be what you think. Case in point, a zed having multi jobs done had a reported poor brakes and the owner requested we change the front discs amd pads, this is a very common problem and blaming the front disc set up is not always the way to go, a quick inspection of the rear discs revealed much more. The rear of the discs condition was worse than the front, with so little pad swept area actually doing anything this transfers more load to the fronts so they end up heating up much quicker and performance drops off, as it happens the front discs and pads were ok. The inside of the discs were also in a bad way with lots of debris in there, no way could the handbrake grip and new discs was the only way forward, along with new pads and new fluid to replace the overheated soup that was in there. Jeff TT
