3 years disgusting
I know this is going to go against the grain here, but is the man who caused the accident not a victim also? Having to live with the fact that you are responsible for wiping out a whole family will prey heavily on any decent person's conscience. And before I get shot down, I do know what it is like to be part of a family who has had lost loved ones through a motoring accident which they did not cause.

Rugby 6 Nations
The margin flattered. Ireland didn't play well at all. But then again good teams can play badly and still win. We see it with Man United in the premiership every year. Bold prediction coming up : Italy and Scotland will each will a game in the 6 nations. I just hope the Scots victory isn't against us in Murrayfield

Rugby 6 Nations
Pity I missed it then. I'll tell you what - there are not going to be any lobsided games this year. It looks like its going to be an exciting and close championship. Some cracking and close games I feel to come over the coming weeks - England v Scotland should be close and exciting especially if Scotland keep improving. Wales v Ireland should also be a cracker. I think it was 4 years ago that I was in Cardiff for the decider between Wales and Ireland. I was over at the races in Cheltenham and was promised tickets for the match, so got to the Millenium Stadium and was told that the tickets were no longer available. Wales of course won that one, but Cardiff was absolutely mental that night - never seen anything like it ever. The Welsh lads do love their rugby. Great people.

Rugby 6 Nations
I hope not, but after their disastrous escapade with fly half experimentation against England last week, they will be out to prove a point. They have a strong pack, but Ireland should be able to cope. It will be an interesting game. Fair play to Scotland yesterday. From the parts that I saw, they really put it up to France. They are not a whipping team. Unfortunately I didn't get to see any of the Wales England game. I could never see that Welsh outfit loose to the current English team, so the result was dare I say it predictable. However I think it was indiscipline that cost England the game from the penalties scored by Wales, more than being outplayed. I haven't read any report, just the scoreline that suggests that to me.

720p/1080p
The reason they look the same is that they are probably playing a standard definition TV feed without any upscaling. Things to factor in when deciding which to go with is : Price - whats the difference between both models Size - what screen size are you buying. 1080p allows you better resolution on a larger screen due to increased numbers of pixels (around twice the amount) Seating distance/room size - how far will your seating position be from the screen. Only at a certain distance with the clarity of picture be evident Content Feed - unless you are playing blue-ray DVD's, HD DVD's or PS3 there is no real difference. Sky HD outputs currently at 720p With all that said if its not significantly more expensive I would go for the 1080p although for a small TV by todays standards 37" the difference won't be great unless you sit pretty close to it. However, let me advise the following, whatever you are prepared to spend on the TV, to experience the true effects of High Definition you absolutely must be prepared to pay to have high spec audio. Even for standard DVD's to gain the full enjoyment out of home theatre, quality audio (as distinct from something capable of giving ear drum damage form harshness of sound) is an absolute must. Hope that helps Edit - never looked at the specs of the TV but just noticed Steve's comment about the contrast ratios. Seems like a lowly spec'd model so be careful

My new respray - two tone with cream-white wheels
Jesus you won't believe this but I ran into such bad luck at one point with vehicles - (the torque converter went on the X5, the engine was gone in the 530d and I was waiting on parts to come for the zed), that my daughter asked if she would have to go to school in that thing or on her pony. It nearly became it. I kid you not.... one for the memory book I think.

My new respray - two tone with cream-white wheels
Well spotted - oversized wheels taken from a larger model. Less ground damage but slight drawback if towing heavy loads :D

My new respray - two tone with cream-white wheels
Started the thread for the fun of it. I know how people get excited about resprays and was inspired by some advertisement spin that you would see on e-bay for some monster performance motors. Ah - one of the joys of not working at present - having a lot of time to think about nothing and getting crazy ideas.

Rugby 6 Nations
That was a good match between the french and ourselves. The mentality seems to have changed with the players, for the better I might ad. Great to see Gordan D'Arcy score considering what he has been through. Must say it was a pleasing performance and an excellent game to watch. The French will counter from any position so looks like there will be more exciting games to come.

done full diagnosis test
To be honest thats the decision I would also take. Thank you very much Jeff for the compliment. My answers or comments are nearly always non-technical. But by heck I'm learning a lot more about mechanics now than I ever thought possible before I bought mine. One of the unrecognised benefits of the cost of ownership I guess

Rugby 6 Nations
Had the Italians started with a scrum half it would have been somewhat closer, but fair play to England for punishing some terrible mistakes. And yes, I do hope we get revenge on the French for winning it in the last minute last time in Croker!

Bunch of *ankers
As do I and its very painful. The subprime catasrophy in the US kicked the whole thing off. If you want a laugh at the absolute craziness of the situation have a look at the following factually based presentation from John Fortune and John Bird. Its probably a year old or more at this stage but just gives the pretext to the whole downfall : My sister in laws fiancee works for an American Investment Bank and he used to see these types of transactions happening and also said that the fund names used were accurate. Over here the government is going to cap the bonuses paid to the top executives in the banking sector considering some of the skullduggery that is being uncovered.
