  1. Improved stock for me also Love this zed posted by Si. Thats the type of rear bumper I'd like.
  2. Oh yeah, I remember that thread now. I was one of the ones who said to get the colour matched. After seeing it in the Vid, I definitely gave the right suggestion. It looks really well as does the tan interior with it.
  3. Looked like a little bit of fun... but I tell you what, that colour looks really well on the zed
  4. I'd be interested for sure.
  5. Happy Birthday lads and have a great day
  6. http://evalbum.com/2332 Should be cheap to run, but I think expensive to build. Since I watched the program on the killing of the EV1, I have been searching to find if a conversion has ever been done to a Zed. The thought may be sacreligious to some, but think about a cheap to run, nice looking motor that would have practically zero road tax (over here normal tax for the 3.0 is horrendous - around €1300). Just wondering if the thought appeals to many or any from the club. When I get funds (after I get a job again and after I clear my accumulated debts - probably 5 years time !), I would love to have a go at a conversion.
  7. PLEASE IGNORE EVERYBODY Used different terms such as speaker cable and it worked. It was obviously my choice of terminology. MODERATORS - feel free to delete this thread
  8. I have tried to use the search option for car audio cable a few times this evening and I keep getting a blank screen? Is it just me or is there anybody else having problems? I never had problems with it before
  9. Good luck with the sale Allan. Hope you get the cash and motor that you want.
  10. I agree. I'm a fan of the natural smooth and sleek lines of the Zed ;)
  11. My opinion is the same as Radrons and Si's - if you are keeping your existing wing, then retain the existing skirt.
  12. Worst car I ever had was a Merc and I swore I'd never get one again. Changed it for an X5 120 miles away so that I would never have to look at it or see it again.
  13. yeah, I saw it too. Electric cars can be quick !
  14. Go down the proper route. Its one thing intimidating and warning a bloke, but doing that to a woman even if she is a **** is a completely different matter. Don't drop your standards to those that are annoying you
  15. Get the paint colour matched. Its a nice colour with a nice matching interior
  16. Glad you are ok Trish

    welcome to the club Mark
  18. Below is the detail of an e-mail I received from a friend. Could this be true or is it a new urban myth? THIS IS TRUE AND TOOK PLACE IN SINGAPORE A fire alarm, in a large office building, rang at 4 p.m. when almost all of the company's 500 employees were at work. As usual in such circumtances the entire office was evacuated within 3 mins & every employee gathered outside. Nothing happened for ten minutes or so and there was no evidence of a fire. Then the firms Security Officer made an announcement ... "Dear employees, with melting heart I am making this announcement that for many of you will be your last fire evacuation drill. Due to the recession the company are laying off almost fifty percent of staff. When you move back into the building some of you will discover that your swipe passcard will no longer give you access to the office. If you are among those laid off, go home and all your belongings will be couriered to you tomorrow. The management took this approach to save on overloading the email system with layoff notifications and goodbye messages and also to avoid any violent outbursts inside the office. Hope you have a nice career ahead ... please move forward and try your swipe card."
  19. 99 spec - best rear spoiler available IMHO
  20. Hi Leigh. You can put me down for one. Might have it in time for it to be the first CD to play on a good set of speakers that i got for the car last year and never even opened the box yet. :) Cheers, Colm
  21. RIP I thought in her final months, she did what she did to leave a legacy for her kids so that they are takden care of after she passed. She sacrificed her own comfort in her final time for her kids. A really good mother and while it may not have been to everybodys liking, she got admiration from me.
