Sure did....

some folk are missing the point
Good points Steve - and I will agree the exterior looks OK in the ad.... But therein lies the warning; this appears to be a decent looking Zed being sold for top dollar. But caveat emptor - there are signals of poor maintenance and [probably recent] owner neglect. There are certainly better cars available for the same - even less money - so whilst some might interpret the above comments as negative, I would like to think they might encourage a prospective buyer to either look elsewhere, or drive a harder bargain on that car. If only to conserve their cash for any necessary rectification works. But I do also concede that none of us have actually seen the car, so we could be judging it a little harshly...

Yup - and also that I get my car in for that cambelt change etc., before they do.... Talk soon mate and hope all's well with you!!

You know it will mate.... He or she will eventually turn up on here, regaling us of their woes and asking for recommendations of where they can take their new purchase to get it put right. And we'll all say, there's only one place to go...……

PMSL.... Sad thing is though, someone will probably pay top dollar for that badger's armpit (IE as rough as....) It needs a hell of a lot of work, to bring it up to a £5k car, let alone a £10k car!!!

Cooling fan, over-revving on idle and HICAS warning light
Sorry to hear that mate - sounds like he's either out of his depth or pulling a fast one. Whilst trade plates do permit those in the trade to drive any vehicle, I'd say that 141 miles is beyond reasonable for a customer's car. I am also confused at the comment "a door panel hanging off where he'd fitted (badly) a Halfords fog light" Why would fitting a fog light interfere with a door panel? Surely the wiring would be from the boot, under the carpet, to the dash switch...?? Mid-Wales is not too far from Bristol; so if I were you, I'd get your Zed down to Jimmer. Your Zed is in safe hands with the master....:clover:

What an experience that must have been - naturally for the men who got there, but also for those who followed the mission on TV and radio.... Sadly I was but a tiny foetus, another seven months would pass before I popped into the world:wink: What it does for me, though, is ask - what great steps have we made since? I concur, there have been many earthly advances in that time. But in 50 years, only 12 men have walked on the moon - the last of which was in 1972. So we've had nearly 47 years to really go beyond where no man has ever been..... But we haven't. So the fact it was done 50 years ago shows what an unbelievable achievement it was back then.... Awesome:thumbup:

Simply Japanese 28th July - 2019
I believe that's the one Mike...… Jury's still out as to whether we'll be attending though.... With the club AGM weekend just gone, and then being away for the Tatton Park Flower Show this coming weekend, three consecutive weekends on the go might be too much to handle. But Beulieu is still one of the best, so Julia & I would like to try and be there if we can:clover:

300zx.co.uk owners club Z32 30th anniversary gathering and AGM
I have to agree - it was indeed a great day..... Thank you again to everyone who attended; it was good to meet everyone!! And sorry to hear of those who could not make it - Coops, mate, what a bummer!! Still, you made it in the Lexus though - so definitely good that you spotted that fuel tank issue before heading down....!!!

What did you do to your zed today?
I used mine today - could not be bothered to move the cars around after getting home yesterday..... I have put it back in the garage tonight though; and also spent half an hour polishing the bonnet.... Neighbour's fooking cat jumped on it last night and left behind some scratches... I was parked in Julia's regular spot; so whilst the bloody animal probably jumps onto her car, the paint on her Rangie is pretty tough!! I clean it with the same care as my Zed and AMG - and rarely do I spot a new scratch on that!!!

AGM Weekend Picture Thread
It was indeed a great day - and weekend, for those who stayed over on Saturday night!! Thanks for starting the thread JP; and thanks to everyone for attending. It was really good to meet some new members and put faces to forum names..... I shall get my own pictures up over the next couple of days - and will type the AGM minutes too. Richard:cool:

What did you do to your zed today?
LOL - I guess I am the spanner...

What did you do to your zed today?
Got home from work this evening and went straight into the garage to re-fit the wipers.... ...Amazing how a simple thing can make a big improvement! Shame I scratched one a little, when the spanner slipped - but fortunately it doesn't show too much. A little bit of tough-up paint hides the worst for now. Luckily it's right where the nut-cover sits; so I can easily respray that section another time:wink: No time for pics - you'll see it Saturday...

What did you do to your zed today?
Yup - fingers crossed for you mate....:clover:

TwinZ demo video
Not at all JP - that is one of the nicest wide arches I have seen... Such a difficult choice, hence I'd want that and a original - best of both worlds...

Simply Japanese 28th July - 2019
Hi Howard... ...Not sure if I'll be able to make this one now either. We're obviously away this weekend for the AGM; and then we're away in Cheshire the weekend after - so a third weekend in succession might just be a bit much to handle.!! I shall speak to Julia and let you know for sure. Richard:oops:

TwinZ demo video
I like that too - but I'd have to have a second Zed to convert.... ….As I'd still want an OEM+ example too...

What did you do to your zed today?
Awesome Joel.... And I see you have since polished those little specs off the tailpipes too...

new owner of 91 tt from Baytown TX..
Hi and welcome to the club!! Richard:cool:
-
which fuel
Yup - because that's what we had in the UK, in the early 1990s.... Four star was being phased out and super unleaded was rarely - if at all - available!!
-
So whats this??
Yes and yes.... Agree on both counts!!
