  1. Hi and welcome Rob!
  2. What are you getting Peter.......?
  3. It was pretty cold here over the weekend though, -8.5 on Saturday morning. Then by Monday morning, the snow had reached The Chilterns.... Needless to say I worked from home that day, and whilst the main roads are now clear, there is still a lot of snow outside our house.
  4. We visited the Bath Christmas Market on Sunday, and whilst it was set to be a sunny day here in Bucks, my phone said it was snowing in Bath..... ....Although I didn't expect snow in the south-west, I didn't take the Zed (Si will be pleased LOL), but played it safe by going in Julia's Rangie. Good call, the M4 was completely white after Calne - loads of fresh snow and hardly any cars had been out that time of the morning. Bath was lovely in the snow though ?
  5. Wow, I'd have thought you'd be covered in the stuff up there Lee!!
  6. LOL - but still great pics Raj....!!!
  7. Many happy returns mate - have a great day!!
  8. Agreed - I replaced mine with these a couple of years ago.... Really made a difference when starting from cold, in colder weather - fuel smell totally eliminated ? I did the fuel lines at the same time, along with a new pressure regulator etc!
  9. Yup - how things have changed in a week.... ? It was 10 degrees the other weekend, when we were up to York. But it was minus 5 down here this morning, salt has been sprayed everywhere, so my Zed is firmly tucked away in the garage ?
  10. Yeah, my thoughts too ?
  11. Great pics guys - love your Zed Gary....! And especially like Si's photos of our first ever NEC show - 2014 being also the 25th anniversary !
  12. LOL - seems to be a common response.... On both counts ?
  13. And let's not forget the NEC last month ?
  14. Seems Gary and I had the same idea, following our posts earlier today..... So, let's share a few pics of our Zeds under lights. Doesn't have to be in a car park, could be anywhere under artificial lighting. I'll kick off with this one from yesterday ?
  15. nice - and I was thinking exactly the same thing Gary.... Great minds ?
  16. LOL - yes, what Lee said.... ? And thanks for sharing guys - always good to have product reviews like this, for anyone thinking of buying one!
  17. Hi Rob, all the connectors can be replaced without removing the plenum. Fortunately ?
  18. As part of our mental health awareness drive at work, I joined in with our Movember campaign..... ....I had to keep it fun though so I went for the Mexican Bandit look - it was either that or a Hitler LOL - so here it was on the final day. I'm glad it's over now though and am pleased to announce I have reverted to my usual facial-hair free (3 day stubble aside) look. And hopefully that explains to Rob (Howl), Mike (Tromans) and Craig (El Presidente), the facial topiary I was sporting at the NEC ?
  19. Nothing today - the weather is rubbish - but yesterday I pulled my Zed out of the garage for the Sainsbury's run..... .....It looked so good under the car-park lights, that I had to take a picture - after standing admiring it for a couple of minutes?
  20. Hi and welcome back Jim....! We're still around, a little older but definitely not wiser ? Richard?
  21. Always the one to post birthday greeting first - hence it's a little late in the day......... But please join me in wishing Gary a very happy birthday!! Many happy returns Gary - hope you have a great day mate ? Richard?
  22. Many happy returns Jeff - have a great day mate!
  23. Hey Rob, HICAS ball joints are an easy fix; not expensive to buy, although the inners are harder to replace than the outers. Just get a proper 4 wheel alignment done afterwards, to ensure everything is set-up properly. Have both sides checked and preferably replace in pairs, otherwise you'll be getting it done again next year ? Alternator - again, not a major job to replace the failed unit..... As for cylinder 5, it may be something simple like an injector or spark plug connector - disconnect both, clean them up and replace. It's not uncommon for the metal connections to become corroded after 25+ years!
