  1. Whether they will fit depends on the width and offset of the wheels mate! 285mm wide is 8/10 of an inch wider than you have already and 1.6 inches wider than stock..... .....so you might have fouling or clearance issues; or they will sit outside of the wheel arches (which IIRC isn't legal)....! Richard:yinyang:
  2. ^^^ That's a good place to start Sascha; the 300zx runs with very high fuel pressure and sometimes the fuel hose connections can work loose. Richard:thumbup1:
  3. Sorry Sascha.... I had to delete your post; you need to be a subbed member to sell on the forum mate! Richard:yinyang:
  4. Welcome Rob..... Richard:biggrin:
  5. I agree - nice one Mark; it's a pleasure to deal with you mate!! Richard:thumbup1:
  6. You too mate - I look forward to seeing the picks of your table once it's done!! Richard:thumbup1:
  7. That is what I would do personally - pop in the H3 LEDs but instead of them being lower wattage headlight supplements, they would be more like daytime running lights! Richard:thumbup1:
  8. You pretty much have the optimum tyre sizes there already mate..... .....although dependent on the width of your rear rims, you could still go 275/35/18 with no problems. Ride and handling will not be affected; but your wallet might when you come to buy rear tyres if you go too wide!! Richard:biggrin:
  9. Heh heh - well, you do get a lot of water hiding in under the rear lights of a Z...!!!
  10. Exactly mate - but it's still a bummer to see your car that way after all the work you put into it though..... .....But you still escaped intact and got yourself another ZX. Onwards and upwards Ciaran; and look on the bright side as it could have been a whole lot worse!! Richard:euro:
  11. Just be prepared for some funny looks from the neighbours though Daz...... ....fook knows what they think I am doing to the car....!!! But I don't care because there's no streaks on my back end after a good hose down!!! Richard:laugh:
  12. LOL - I know what you mean Daz...... ....but my neighbours think I'm crazy when I wash my Z; because as I'm drying it, I put my face down around the rear lights and blow out all the water so that does not happen!! Hence it's not such a big problem for me mate!!! Richard:biggrin:
  13. Happy birthday Gareth; have a great day mate!! Richard:clap:
  14. Happy birthday mate - have a great day!! Richard:clap:
  15. It sure looks a good weekend for it...... ....but I don't think I'll be able to make it. I decided (seemed like a good idea at the time) to put myself on a customer service management NVQ course at work and was supposed to have a module completed this morning. As I actually do work whilst in the office, I have been too busy - so the nice lady at the training centre agreed to give me until Monday instead. So as Julia is going out for the day on Sunday, I had planned to do it then..... Richard:euro:
  16. Good news Nick; I'm glad you got it sorted mate!! Richard:thumbup1:
  17. That is very reasonable mate!! And as said before - this is a much more sensible option than paying ££££s for a big brake set-up if your car is pretty stock and only used for normal road use.... .......sadly Bigg Redd did not have anything on the shelf when I wanted mine; and I'd have had blue ones considering the colour of my car:biggrin: Richard:thumbup1:
  18. Nice one Jeff......!! I saw these when I was up there yesterday:biggrin:
  19. Nice one Phil..... ....I looked at Bigg Redd for mine too; but did not want to send my own ones away and wait for their return. So I found another company who sold me a fully re-manufactured set on an exchange basis; I paid £300 for the pair and got £50 back when I returned the old ones!! It's amazing just how good the stock brakes are when they are new and working properly - but then you already know that with the Collector's Zed!! Before spending £££s on an expensive upgrade, if your ZX is a relatively stock car for regular normal road use, then this is a good way to go!! Richard:thumbup1:
  20. Yup; driver's door only on the ZX!! And new cars don't tend to actually have a key-hole on the passenger door anymore.... Richard:thumbup1:
  21. Nice one Chris; of course we'll keep your membership open..... It wouldn't be the same without you around here...!! Thanks for your continued support mate, it's much appreciated. Richard:thumbup1:
  22. Lovely old car - and always nice to see them still in that condition!! Richard:thumbup1:
  23. It has been leaking for a while most probably mate!! Jeff says that luckily they leak less whilst the engine is running; hence the puddles under the car after it had been left for a week. Which is fortunate as Zedworld is a 100 mile drove for me - so it meant I could top up the rad and still make the trip without too much risk of running out of coolant en route!! It was nice too that Jeff showed me the car with the front stripped off - it was really interesting to see a Z-expert at work. I'd not attempt the job myself but Jeff made it look soo easy!! Richard:thumbup1:
  24. Jeff and Jamie have worked their magic again.... .....For the first time my blue ZX had actually let me down by dumping coolant on my garage floor whilst parked. The culprit? A dead water-pump!! So one visit to Zedworld today and Jeff fitted a new waterpump - plus a shiney brand new Nissan viscous fan (oh and a new cam-belt just to be safe, since he had the front of the engine off); now all is well again!! Thanks guys; the car is back to its normal happy self once more!!! Richard:clap:
  25. Why do you want your car's interior to look like your 10 year old kid's wallpaper......?? It's sure different, I'll give it that!!! Richard:yinyang:
