Solicitors in the club?
I agree - plus when you need to sign papers, contracts etc; it is always best if you can drop in in person to do it. Saves time, as you're not reliant on the post; plus you know they have got the documents Don't forget the extra costs; disbursements like land/local authority/environmental searches, land registry fees, bank telegraphic transfer charges etc. They mount up to a few hundred pounds - IIRC all those added up to about £5-600 when I moved house 6 years ago. The conveyance fee was about £400 for each part (selling my old house; then buying the new one) - so £800. Plus VAT of course (not on the disbursements, on the solicitors fees and the bank charges). Hope that helps - and good luck with your impending purchase! Richard:thumbup1:

Should I return my car to standard?
Yup - I agree also.... Shelling out for stock parts, plus the labour (or your time) to fit them will negate any real gain you might make on the sale of the aftermarket parts. And like it's also been said above, chances are the next owner will probably look to upgrade them to your current spec in time - expecially is the stock parts re-fitted are showing signs of wear. Which if we're honest is very likely..... They did - even 20 years on the Z32 is still a better car than most of its successors and their contemporaries; and does indeed only need bigger wheels and exhausts to update it. Oh and clear side repeaters with 99-spec rear lights of course!!! But nonetheless it can still be improved - like replacing tired suspension with new coilovers and poly bushes etc. Richard:thumbup1:

wheels....
They are very nice looking wheels matey - Gary Wilson has the same ones on his lovely red SWB and they look superb......!!! Good value too - did you get them from a seller in Birmingham? Something like "Mad on Motors" I think; that's the place I bought my wheels from and they do these now as well. Richard:thumbup1:

In court tomorrow and after some advice
Well done mate - common sense prevailed and the magistrates came to the right decision!! I think the police and/or the CPS try it because in most cases, the defendant just admits it and pays the fine. But if you have done nothing wrong, then you're right to stand up for yourself and have your day in court. Richard:thumbup1:

if i had left home just 10 seconds before................
Oooooh so close..... .....but then that woman could have stepped out of the shop and been knocked down by a bus. Which would have happened to you, if you were 10 seconds earlier.......!!!! But still, you have £25 you never would have otherwise had, so it's still good mate Richard:thumbup1:
