  1. Cheers fellas...... Nice one Gaz - your ZX has been in the garage for long enough mate. Get out there and enjoy it once again.... That's why I keep mine taxed all year as I cannot resist a blast on a nice sunny winters day...... ......Wow - 3 years already Phil... That went by fast!! And you certainly have to get at least one of your (remaining) Zs back on the road - they are too good to sit in your garage mate!! Still at least you know that your old blue one is still alive, kicking and being used as it should... Richard:cool3:
  2. Dydd Gŵyl Dewi to you all!!! Richard:cool3:
  3. I left my ZX at the local garage this morning for an MOT and oil and filter change..... ......And collected it about an hour ago with a lovely new MOT; happily burbling away on a sump full of Castrol's nice clean finest!! Richard:thumbup:
  4. I agree there Vodds..... .....The Calibra looked good back in the day, but the design has (like all curvy/swoopy cars) aged badly. I sometimes see a very tidy, original, Calibra pootling around my village - but you're right, it just looks dated; not what you'd call a classic now, even in A1 condition. And let's not forget it's just a Mk3 Cavalier underneath - so the old nail has been dynamically superceded by every family saloon that has been launched since about 1992. Richard:detective:
  5. Yup - hope so Graham!!
  6. Me too..... ....shame Jeff doesn't have the full set as he'd have no trouble selling them!! Richard:cool3:
  7. Many happy returns Paul..... .....Hope you have a great day mate!! Richard :happybday:
  8. Happy birthday mate! Richard:cool3:
  9. LOL - so did I when I signed in just now..... .....it's the first thread I went for.... Richard:laugh:

  15. Seconded..... Cheers Jeff!! Richard:cool3:
  16. LOL - no problem there Bri; they're yours mate!!! As long as mine look OK I'm happy......
  17. Heh heh - I can relate to that mate!! Especially as I have OCD and get a bit sensitive about the appearance of my hands - getting them scratched or cut to bvggery does set me off a tad....LOL Richard:lol:
  18. Good thread as ever; thanks Jeff.... ......and fully agree with you Bri...!! Surely Nissan could have thought of a more readily accessible position for that fusebox!! Richard:taz:
  19. LOL - fan-flippin-tastic..... .....and if she does have her dad's 65 million, she is welcome to hide the cash in my bank account for a while.... Richard:clown:
  20. Many happy returns fellas - hope you all have a great day!! Richard:cool3:
  21. LOL - it sure does Dean..... But you could just buy a set of rough clocks like that and simply transplant the odometer and trip clock from it into your own dash!!
  22. This is a common problem....!! It's not unusual for the odometer to stop working mid-journey (say 50 miles into a trip) and just stick until the next day..... Upon which normal operation will resume until the next long journey - wherein it might stick again (say) 50 miles into a long journey!! And it happens to both the regular odo and the trip odo simultaneously!! There is a fix for it - I remember a link to it on the Aussie or US forums somewhere..... .....Failing that fit a new odometer and trip clock! Richard:cool3:
  23. Wowser!!! Very nice Mark...... .....I love the original Cobra - and love any decent replica too....!! Thanks for sharing that with us mate - and please to get some more pics up of your progress... Richard:cool3:
  24. When I have had my house decorated, the painter used water based white for the woodwork - and as said, in satin or eggshell finish rather than gloss - and so far none of it has gone yellow!! I believe he has used Wickes own brand paint - but I'm not 100% sure!! But back to the original question, if you've only been in for 6 months, then something it not right. I'd contact the builders and get them to come back and fix it mate! Richard:cool3:
  25. LOL at the above!!! But as said, Lee has made a few changes to the permitted signature sizes as some folk's were far too big. Ooer missus!! I think the maximum now is 750x150; so if anyone has any problems with their sig, or would like further clarification on what to do, please let us know! Richard:cool3:
