Red Zed standard wheel painting advice....
For a red car on stock wheels - I'd say stick to the silver alloy colour mate..... .....coloured wheels can look good; and black wheels suit a red ZX if they are bigger, wider with a silver outer rim and deeper dish. Richard:thumbup1:

300zx v 370z
Exactly...... The 300zx was so right from the start - Yewcheck, imagine being in the position you were in today; but back in 1991 after having driven a new 300zxTT. You'd certainly have felt the same - but now, over 20 years on, the 300zx still has "it"... I use mine just as a weekend toy but even after driving a reasonable, and new-ish, German sports car every day; I just love getting into the ZX and doing what it does best. No other car I have owned has had the same effect!! Richard:biggrin:

300zx v 370z
I agree with that; having felt the same way about the 350z 7 or 8 years ago. And I'm glad I didn't bother to be honest; the 350 is a decent car and the 370 is better, but the 370z is still just a posh modern Nissan. And for the money, there are better cars out there - the Germans do it better I reckon. For the combination of looks, performance, build quality and value/depreciation the 370 cannot compete with the Merc SLK350/BMW Z4i35s/Porsche Cayman S or Boxster S. They offer the best all round package pound for pound; albeit you have to drop a year or two in age.... Just my opinion though.... Richard:thumbup1:

Where can I find good breakdown cover?
I see mate - otherwise I'd have said AA or RAC; but I'm not sure they do short term policies.

H3c super bright white projector led
I agree.... .....coloured bulbs are a waste of time. Fact; as the coloured coating actually reduces light output - obvious really isn't it? Shine a light through clear glass and then through coloured glass and which do you think will be brightest....?? If you stick with normal halogen bulbs, you can't really get better than Osram Nightbreakers or the new Phillips Xtreme Vision. They have been tested by Auto Express and, whilst nowhere near the output of an HID conversion, are about the best "normal" technology can provide right now. Thing is, they are not "cool blue-ish white" like HIDs so the "kids" don't like them!! The LED bulbs Jeff posted up look interesting though - and definitely worth a try in the projector beams - but you'd probably not get away with them in normal headlamp units (or our main beams) at MOT time. The tester can easily see they what they are.... And as said, HID kits are so cheap now anyway! Richard:thumbup1:

Speed humps and spring damage
It is shocking - just like the state of the roads..... .....And IMO speed humps should be scrapped as it is obvious to everyone that they can damage cars; they cause more noise and pollution as cars slow before and then speed up afterwards; and add to congestion. I am all for safety measures around town to prevent speeding in urban areas, but if the speed limit is 30 (or sometimes 20) then on a normal road, drivers should be allowed to maintain that speed and not have to slow to almost stationary every few metres. Karcher chassis cleaner
Heh heh - if you already have the jet wash thingy, and the attachment is cheap, then buy it!! If you'll hardly use it, then save your money..... Richard:wink:

eBay find!!
LOL - I was not referring to you Mandy; I was joking about the pictures in the ad!!! Richard:oops:

Karcher chassis cleaner
No link Mandy.....!! Is it a full pressure washer, or just a tool/attachment to a pressure washer for cleaning under the chassis? I don't bother with the pressure washer thing myself; I hear they are bad for paintwork as the pressure drives dirt and grit into the paintwork causing minor scratches.... Also I hear that the pressure will wear down, more quickly, the wax protection I have so painstakingly applied!! I can see the benefits of cleaning the underside of the car properly after winter - but TBH I just get my local garage to do that once a year! Richard:biggrin:

eBay find!!
Hah hah - that's pretty good actually..... Despite being the b@stard love child of an Audi TT and a Nissan Figaro.... Also it seems to have a penchant for attracting ugly women.......:winkiss: Good find Adam!! Richard:biggrin:

Yup - get those mate! They are like BBS LM replicas; the BBS LM wheels are perfect for a 300zx. But original BBS will be expensive!! Richard:thumbup1:

Steam Everywhere!
I'd suggest upgrading to the UK spec radiator/oil and auto 'box oil cooler set-up mate! The auto-box gets the old J-spec engine oil cooler (bigger and better at cooling the tranny fuid) and the engine oil gets a bigger better cooler too. Richard:thumbup1:

What an absolute tool this boy is........
TBH, that is very likely Graham!! To them, it keeps him a current hot topic, but to those of us who aren't 13 year old girls or generally have a brain, w just perceive him as a tool....!! Richard:lol:
