  1. Glad you had a good one Rich - and Merry Christmas to you and your family mate. Nice to see you still pop in every now and again too... Richard:thumbup:
  2. LOL - you have the power (in this section) Si.... Delete their posts....:rofl:
  3. Plenty of room mate - IIRC the car is no more than 6 feet 6 inches mirror to mirror, unfolded....
  4. LOL - yeah, but he has a point though....
  5. I have seen that type of speedo as well.... ....It was the "lazy" way some early importers converted speedos to read in MPH. Instead of doing a proper conversion, they just added a new face to the dial over the 180km/h one; but reading up to 120mph. The car remains limited to 112mph as before, but at least the driver knows the vehicle speed in MPH up to the J-spec limiter!! Richard:oops:
  6. Looking good Daz....
  7. PMSL - very good Alan; and so true.... Congrats on the 30 years next year too mate - it's my parent's 50th in April, so it can't be all bad:wink: Richard:cool:
  8. That's the spirit we had hoped to evoke!!! I reckon that all the recent REO changes will prove positive for 2014 and beyond!! Richard:cool:
  9. That's the one I had too..... Richard:cool:
  10. Ditto..... Richard:thumbup:
  11. LOL - and that is something I would actually do.....
  12. PMSL - thing is mate, I could actually believe that is something you would do....
  13. I'd like to announce the appointment of a joint Regional Events Organizer for The South Central area; along with the closure and merging of the former Thames Valley area into the SC region. The Thames Valley area has proved itself to be inactive as a "stand alone" region in recent months; especially as most TV members could just as easily join meets in either SC, The Midlands or London and the SE. Therefore as most of the active TV members hail from the area West/South West of London, it made sense to incorporate the Thames Valley region into South Central. In view of the larger area, and to help BigH (Howard) plan future local meets, the committee (along with Howard) has given its backing to z32bolt (Steve) becoming joint REO for The South Central with immediate effect. On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank ZX-TT (Craig) for all efforts in the Thames Valley region; and congratulate Steve on his new role within the club. Richard Smith Club secretary For The Committee
  14. Hi South Central members! I'd like to announce the appointment of a joint Regional Events Organizer for your area; along with the closure and merging of the former Thames Valley area into the SC region. Since ZX-TT sold his ZX he has seldom been active as the REO for The TV; so as most of the members attending TV meets hail from the area West of London, it made sense to incorporate the TV region into South Central. In view of the larger area, and to help BigH plan future local meets, it is with pleasure that Vodkashots and I introduce z32bolt (Steve) as joint REO with immediate effect. On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank ZX-TT (Craig) for all efforts to date; and congratulate Steve on his new role within the club. Richard Smith Club secretary For The Committee
  15. PMSL - but yes mate; I too only shop when I have to.... ....Food etc in order to live; and clothing when I need something. I hate the whole shopping experience and also like to get it over with as quickly as possible!!
  16. Agreed - especially as everyone buys enough for about a month in the days leading up to Christmas; hell the shops could remain closed until January 2nd!! Trouble is, shopping seems to have become a national pastime in recent years; all led by the retailers dragging folks away from whatever else they might be doing, and into their stores. Toss [the consumers] a fish and watch them clap for more....
  17. The Club Committee and Moderation Team would like to thank the membership for your support during 2013, and we wish you ALL and your families a Very Merry Christmas, and all the best for 2014. :cool3::santa:
  18. Ditto.... It's only two days, like you say.... In fact, not even that as most shops nowadays reopen on Boxing Day anyway...:death:
  19. LOL - good spot Alan...... And I think you have just identified the donor car for the replica kit that will no doubt be launched in a few years..... Richard:biggrin:
  20. Probably right mate...... .....But according to Nissan's literature, the over all width of the Z32 (excluding door mirrors) is 1800mm (70.9 inches). Note, "without" mirrors - not with mirrors folded in!! That is the widest point along the flanks of the car; which taper in past the tops of the wheel arches. So with mirrors folded in, it "probably" will not be any wider - reckon on 72 inches and you should be fine. Hopefully!! Richard:cool:
  21. LOL - abuse of power......:shifty::rofl: Agreed!! And there are plenty of members between your place and Bath Ghazoobe; so someone might be willing to accompany you when you view it.... Richard:cool:

Hi London & SE members! I'd like to announce the appointment of a new Regional Events Organizer for your area. Yassa has stepped down so it is with pleasure that Vodkashots and I introduce Terry as the new REO with immediate effect. On behalf of The Committee, I'd like to thank Yassa for all efforts to date; and congratulate Terry on his new role within the club. Richard Smith Club secretary For The Committee
  23. On behalf of the committee, I would like to announce the appointment of Terry to the role of REO for London & The South East. Yassa has stood down from the position; having been inactive for some time and Terry expressed an interest in giving it a shot; so the committee has given its backing to him taking on this position! So please join me in congratulating Terry on his new role; and in thanking Yassa (Stu) for his past services!! Nice work Terry, thanks for stepping up - I'm sure you'll do a great job!! Richard Smith Club secretary For The Committee
  24. Nice one Terry - I'll set you up now mate.... Start something like this and you won't go wrong my friend - we're all here to help you succeed!!!...... Richard:cool:
  25. Many happy returns to Kim.....:happybday: .....Have a great day Rich; I hope you're keeping well matey.... Richard:cool:
