  1. Another Metallica cover of a classic track.....:punk:
  2. Cool - I remember all of that (Except Daniel Radcliff of course - no idea who the feck he was back then... ).... ......I was 19 years old and had just managed to wreck my F-reg Astra GTE (heaven knows how I afforded a nearly new hot hatch) swerving to avoid some numpty in an RS Turbo on my side of the road..... .....And I had just replaced it with a (then) new-ish Cavalier 2.0 CDi. I remember seeing this "New Japanese Supercar" and thinking just how much better it looked than my boss's Porsche 944.... Those were the days:cool: Richard:thumbup:
  3. Tributes eh..... ...One of my favourite cover versions... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFY_6mSBi9E Richard:punk:
  4. It does appear to be a great buy - although if I was interested, the person I'd be in touch with first would be Jeff.....!! It's a shame that after so many years and so few owners, it's having its fair share of names added to the log book in very quick succession. But whatever the reasons for it passing through a few hands of late, 300zx or not, we should not lose sight of the fact that it is a 20 year old £4,000 car - and not a nearly new £40,000 car anymore. It's bound to have its own little faults - nothing insurmountable - but there nonetheless.... Daffy, it might be a sign matey...:innocent: Richard:cool:
  5. Many happy returns matey!! Richard:thumbup:
  6. PMSL.... My preferences are Meguairs Ultimate or Autoglym car shampoo....
  7. Agreed - looking good Ant!!! Get your Z entered into Car of The Month mate!! Richard:bow:
  8. Hi Dave - and welcome to the club mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  9. Nice one mate - assuming you bought Brian's car.....!! And whilst I would expect your forum name to be a version of your real name - it is nonetheless a little....... fishy.... (sea bass, for the benefit of those who might not have noticed!!)!!! Welcome to the club mate; good luck with your new toy!! Richard:thumbup:
  10. Welcome to the club mate - and good luck with your new toy!! Richard:thumbup:
  11. Washed it and waxed it with Meguairs Ultimate.....
  12. As said in my e-mail...... Welcome back Dan!!! Richard:thumbup:
  13. Drove it a bit..... Well, a lot actually!! We ventured into deepest Wiltshire for the day - took a trip to Bowood House; and as it didn't open until 11 we had a wander around Castle Coombe village first. Then after visiting the main sights of Bowood, we drove onto the rhododendron gardens; had a nice walk around them, casually interrupted by the odd break to sit in the sunshine.... .....Before getting back in the ZX and taking the scenic route home along the A4 as opposed to the motorway!! Gotta love the ZX for a nice 180 mile round day-trip... Richard:cool:
  14. Good call Jeff!! I have only just seen the "Trip Advisor" one asking me to change my password.... I closed my old Trip Advisor account a couple of years ago - and I always delete e-mails from Paypal as they are usually scammers. Particularly as most of them seem to arrive in my club inbox - and I only use my 300zx e-mail address for club matters, nothing private is associated with it:wink: Richard:nono:
  15. Nope - but I reckon the experience will be the same whichever one you chose Mandy..... So pick the easiest/quickest one to get to... Enjoy it - I know you will as I did one at North Weald a few years ago! Richard:thumbup:
  16. Many happy returns Ash!! Richard:thumbup:
  17. Many happy returns John! Richard:thumbup:
  18. Yup - seconded.....
  19. Happy birthday Paul!! Richard:happybday:
  20. Many happy returns.... :happybday:
  21. It's easily done by accident Si.... ....One of the moderators (who shall remain nameless) had a tendency to hit the close button just after replying to a post - until Lee advised us how to avoid it happening:wink:
  22. All will be revealed soon.....:whistling:
  23. I did say "usually" a tax disc mate - as according to the V317 transfer form, there must be no break in the last disc expiry and current SORN declaration; and the tax must not have expired more than 12 months previous.... https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/209585/V317_140313.pdf I know because I have only just filled one in to transfer my reg number to a new car arriving soon.....:shifty: Richard:wink:
  24. I'd only use OEM, WIX or K&N - forget the other rubbish out there... And yes, the OEM filter also fits many other Nissan cars from the late 1980s onward, so the dealership should have one to go! Next time buy 2 or 3 so that you have one ready for the next service.....
