Ooooh - sorry to see that mate.... ......I also hate it when you get raised slabs, logs or whatever placed at the end of parking bays. You never know how close you are until it's too late - don't the carpark operators ever think that some visitors might be arriving in low-slung cars....? Personally, I'd just pick any easy to use Cat-1 system. They will all act as sufficient deterrent for all but the "steal to order" professional thieves - and let's be honest, those who are seriously determined to steal your car (or from it) will do so no matter what security system you have! My advice, don't spend £££££s on an all singing, all dancing system. Just buy a decent Cat-1 of a reputable brand, have it properly installed and always remember to use it when you park up......:wink:

I have seen them in Halfords - and even at full retail, they're not too bad!

Pretty much mate - tailor made to the OEM shape and supplied with a decent fixing system to prevent movement. Chose their best quality item though, as they also do (or at least did) a budget option!

That look would be my choice..... .....Like Gaz, I don't mind the red and black look either - but on a darker grey car; and perhaps a shade more burgundy than red. So I'd do it as Mondo suggests, and with the colour scheme above:cool:

Don't worry - the front panel also detaches if I decide to leave the Zed parked anywhere; so no-one will know what's in there...:wink:

Good guess there mate - they're around £750 at most online outlets..... But I managed to secure one for a little bit less than that:wink:

I treated my Zed to a little upgrade in the audio department...... http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/car/nav_mm/nav/DNX7250DAB/ ...I'll install it on Saturday and post a few pics. Should not take me long, as I already have the microphone and DAB aerial in place from the old Kenwood unit (which will be for sale shortly) - and I have the Z-Thirtytwo double-din facia ready to go (thanks to Luke at Z-centre)....
