  1. Looking awesome Lee....
  2. Oops - sorry to hear that Craig... Still, it does not sound like bearing failure to me; that would be more of a loud knock than a rattle. How's the oil pressure? Fingers crossed it's nothing too major mate - albeit you're making the right decision not to bring the Zed to the Lakes next weekend, unless you've got it fixed beforehand. And yes, I am just saying that, as I don't want to be the only person there sans-Zed... Richard:clover:
  3. Nice one Gary - glad you got it out..... ......Now (if you haven't already) get a nice HID conversion in there...
  4. Oops - to coin a phrase from League of Gentlemen, "it's neither sommat nor nowt..!!" Alternatively, you could just withdraw £6,500 from your account in cash and set fire to it.... You'd end up with pretty much the same thing....
  5. Looking GOOD mate....
  6. Nice one mate - it always looks better with the black strip IMO.... It's just so "unfinished" when the whole spoiler remains body-coloured.... I bought the strip from MJP when I first got my blue Zed and it made the car look 100 times better. However I have lived with a small crease in it since then which has constantly annoyed me. So now the car is being resprayed, I have asked for the "strip" to be painted in gloss black - as opposed to the sticky strip. I may have copied a certain Funky person there - but I reckon the painted finish will age better.:clover:
  7. Nice one Gary - thanks for your continued support mate...
  8. Great find Andrew - if I lived in the USA, that would be in my garage like a shot....
  9. Many happy returns mate! Richard:happybday:
  10. Indeed.... I like the red (apparent) UK spec, with the Stillen lip and Azev wheels... Mouse-holes on the skirts aside, that is.....
  11. Nice looking UK spec there mate..... And I'm still loving those Antera alloys - another old school wheel that still looks great on a Zed....
  12. Wise words there Gary.... Over the years, there have been a few dodgy importers selling in Keighley - I'd be inclined to heed certain reviews and look to better sellers if I were buying..
  13. Thanks for sharing Nick - it's good to see Rich still fighting on... He was on here around the time I joined - I forget why he was banned, as it was before my time on committee or as a mod..... I certainly have no issue with Rich coming back; as said above, he was always positive and enthusiastic...!
  14. What a great day for it too...... Nice one Mr Parsons... ....ditto, by the way....
  15. Many happy returns Edd.... ...Hope you have a great day!! Richard:happybday:
  16. Cheers Bri - and good to see you posting mate... No matter how infrequent...!! And whilst you're here my friend, did you by any chance spot our little gathering in the North West the next bank holiday weekend...? https://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?188554-Lakes-Weekend-Fat-Lamb-Inn-May-26th-to-28th-2018 If you're around it would be great to catch up...
  17. LOL - I wish I'd known.....!!!
  18. Thanks Gary..... I always loved the old Azev wheels on my red Zed, even though they were only 17s, that classic 5-spoke deep dish design never lost its appeal. And since I cannot find anyone selling Azev As anymore, these looked the next best thing. Hopefully their quality will be near enough too:cool:
  19. Not a lot - as Darren still has my Zed.... But having spoken to him today he's going to have it ready in 3 - 4 weeks. I probably won't have it back in time for the Fat Lamb, but it will certainly be the weekend after. I'll just have to drive up to Cumbria in the AMG... However, I did order my new wheels..... https://www.stanceduk.com/jr6.html 8.5x18 ET35 front 9.5x18 ET40 rear (thanks for the tip Andrew, your set-up looks just fine sir!) £847 all in for the custom drilling etc. I also have received my new floor mats ordered from the RAC. I'll post a couple of pics later - but suffice to say, they are much nicer quality than the top line items from Autostyle; which are nearly double the price. I predict that I will have some (ahem) nice enough floor mats and Cruise alloys up for sale very soon.... Here's a little preview on the new wheels - except I will still have a tk3 blue Zed....!! Richard:cool:
  20. Congrats on the purchase Tom - nice looking Zed, and very good choice of colour.... Richard:thumbup:
  21. Happy birthday Ash - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  22. Still looks stunning Joel...... .....But I agree, gotta watch out for those swirl marks.....
  23. That's what I was thinking..... If you go on their 'site to book advance tickets, they are sold out for the car show event; but you can still book to visit the IWM on Sunday. I find it hard to believe that visitors to the museum would be denied access to the car show though - nonetheless I will telephone tomorrow to ask. Before I decide to buy advance tickets, of course....
  24. Many happy returns Paul - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  25. Yup - spotted that.... Apart from the summer date clash - however I'll still be going along as a spectator, so if you're up for visiting as well, we could still meet there!
