  1. Do it yourself in 10 mins mate ;) http://www.twinturbo.net/nissan/300zx/tech/tech.aspx smithy
  2. Whoo hoo, finally someone who uses teh same terminology as me, geez thought i was weird :p Side, Main and Full. Anyway Scotty, yep main beam is absolutely crap on these babies, you can fit uprated bulbs which helps a bit. Dirty inside lenses don't help. Best option if you have the cash is a HID kit from Danny at DTA, once fitted the difference is awesome and one of the 1st mods any new zedder should do ;) cheers smithy
  3. Arr bless and they done her Grey bits of hair for her too :) An all in one package eh  smithy
  4. KAD 6 Pot kit meant for the GTR-33, very happy with it. 2 Piece floating discs in choice of 330mm or 355mm :) Smithy
  5. The sticker on the windscreen kinda gave it away mate :) Axis "Mod" wheels http://www.axiswheels.com/gallery.php## cheers smithy
  6. Seeing as you have another Zed parked next to it, whip the ECU out and try that, only takes 10 mins to do. Had a similar problem about 8 years ago, after so much fooking around the problem was traced to a relay in the panel next to the accelerator and under the fuse board. This relay got it's power from the ECU, no error codes and everything else like in your list checked out okay too. Try that, won't matter auto/manual etc as your only going to fire it up. smithy
  7. Nice list mate and glad to see your gonna be doing the bearings too ;) Clutch and injectors should go hand in hand with what Turbo's you plan to use really. smithy
  8. Here yer go ;) http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=117765 smithy
  9. Pretty sure Jeff at zedworld is still doing free check overs for subscribed members, so if yer pays the 20 quid subscription fee, then he'll be able to check it out for yer for free ;) cheers smithy
  10. No mate, a guy called Johnny from the northwest ;) smithy
  11. Not on an N/A to be honest mate. Throttle bodies on the TT arn't really restrictive until much higher BHP and the gain is minimal to them, to you would be zilch :) smithy
  12. Just surfing some local companies and came across these guys who can make your car really individual :) http://chameleon-wraps.co.uk/# Smithy
  13. Yikes! if you mean the cover that goes over the top of the plenum, looks a right mess, imo of course. The carbon rad shroud cover is available though from danny at dta. smithy
  14. That info would have to have been supplied to the supplier when you ordered them mate ? otherwise you end up with wheels that don't fit. Can you remember what you asked for when you bought them ? the offset though is often stamped on the inside back rim and the width should be on there as well. What size tyres did you buy ? smithy
  15. Old style gas mate, needs converting and regassing, check out the bottom of this page http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzj.html smithy
  16. Meet Greg Dupree :p http://www.specialtyz.com/downpipes.htm smithy
  17. No he has the greg dupree 5 bolt splits and the 2fast2cool decatts. Oh and no they don't do 5 bolt version yet taht i know off.. smithy
  18. So you don't do 740cc chips anymore then? Could have swore yer did previously. smithy
  19. Am sure the customers who were called by Chris to collect their cars after HE told them he was going under, will pop along and post up mate, hopefully :) Sometimes a "simply moving premises" ain't quite "smply"at all! cheers smithy
  20. You don't get lean with bad sensors mate, it's rich as it over fuels and is often the cause of poor fuel economy. Conzult and more importantly a timing check is in order me thinks ;) cheers smithy
  21. Even if you get it started and it then runs like a bag of poo, your gonna have to drive it at some point to meet up with JD and get it to the rolling road you are gonna use. It's not an instant thing he does, it can take a good couple of hours or more. Danny's the only trader am aware of actually does a 740cc chip which does alot more than make the car start :p yer zed is good to go and be driven how you want it for years to come. JD can then whenever time allows alter it to suit your specific needs and that of the engine. Oh and stage 1 chip, is at it says a stage 1 which takes in to account the most basic of mods and not bigger injectors. An engine running 740's and power to suit is around stage 4-5 mate in the power stakes. smithy
  22. Oh man! they had such a good reputation too. You wanna spill? ;) smithy
  23. To be honest, periodic quick starts ain't good for these babies, they often flood. In this link is the ECU error codes, will take you 10mins to do it and you'll know what it is. http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html When you simply turned the ignition on, did you hear anything running like a fan or summit? To check the CAS, but do the error codes first please. The CAS is held in place with 3 10mm bolts, mark their position in their guide with a felt pen so the CAS goes back in the same place. Undo these and pull the CAS out towards you, with the connector still attached turn on the ignition, slowly turn the spindle at the back of the CAS and you should hear the injectors clicking, no clicking means a duff CAS and just get another second hand jobbie. smithy
  24. Look at your engine and on the right hand side timing belt cover is an alloy almost round block and teh connector is on the right hand side. Clean that, if that don't work post back and we'll tell yer how to test it, bit fiddly for a 1st time and you'll need a sockett set. Oh how do you know theres no spark mate ? smithy
  25. No idea if near you or not cos i don't even live on your mainland lol But these guys have a very good reputation and have done some Zed work before http://www.ctmperformance.com/ Knive edge crank, hmm not a must but have it inpsected and see what they think to be sure. Good luck! smithy
