  1. What you using now to run those injectors in the ECU mate ? Sorry just re read your post, whose chip is it? smithy
  2. Any warning lights lit up on the dash speedo area when the engine is running or any electrical fan heard running ? smithy
  3. Zed Sean is selling the invertors for just 7 bucks in the for sale section. cheers smithy
  4. A very sensible price that won't break the bank and if it's as good in the flesh as it is in the pics, deffo worth a look mate. Being almost standard but modernised with the 99 spec front and clean paint too. I'd travel to see it at that price and with the few bits that's been done. As Legrath says, if the rear spolier bothers you, quite a simple job to replace that and ain't too expensive. smithy
  5. Just do a search next time your stuck mate, i've posted it a zillion times and do wish a mod would make it a sticky! http://www.ttzd.com/tech/diagnostictech.html cheers smithy
  6. Yep you can fit Skyline GTR kits on the 300zx mate. Mine is one as are many others. smithy
  7. :headvswal:headvswal Think it's time to close the thread mods before i end up at the hospital for the cut to me friggin forehead! Point is definately across me thinks ;) Cheers Smithy
  8. Sorry i can never leave things alone when someone just isn't accepting their actions, plus am a firm believer in looking at the start of why any problem started, not jumping to the middle section to find fault. Again, i ask you to re read your post and well before the last page of posts. Cocky and with a wtf! without such attitude i wouldn't have even posted, fact. But the biggest point is, i've proven to you danny's deal is in fact " a good deal" and knocks spots of the competition. Which kinda contradicts what you posted above eh. Maybe Dan should be apoligised to now you know the full facts of how wrong your comments were. At least when the time comes and you are in the market for a rad, now you know wehre to go to pay more and not even get a bracket with it, cos it's an OPTIONAL EXTRA, always has been and always will be cos not every one likes the bling :D smithy
  9. Well done you, nowt like what you posted earlier and a completly different part number like, none the less you got there. Now add yer shipping and a wee bit duty and guess what, if your lucky it's around 250-300 quid ish delivered, BUT, alas no bracket  Never mind, the link i posted earlier has them for 60 quid plus shipping from the US.Danny sells them for 50 quid or even less at 40 quid if you buy the rad, WOW! All am trying to point out fella is, look back at your post after danny posted his prices, in reflection i think you'll find you jumped the gun and i found your tone to that offensive IMO Simply cos, i knew the facts and now you do too, ! So now you wanna leave it lol smithy
  10. :headvswal here http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=288&Car_Type=300&UID=2009082611572387.254.79.78 That's what we are all talking about. Feel free to look at the pic and description of yours. Geez, it's like saying it's a nissan, but it could be a 300zx or a bleedin almera but it's a nissan!! smithy
  11. Well you know what, if yer hadn't of ****ed up again! i would have done. 1st, what you listed as found in under 20 secs is NOT the same Koyo rad we are all talking about here, in fact it's **** all like it. It is a standard replacement rad with plastic tanks, a bit more time in your reasearch and you'll see. 2nd, i know you moaned about the price of the bracket, so i showed you how much they are in the US where they are sold by the bucket load and more expensive. 3rd you moaned that the bracket should be part of the rad, so i showed you NO ONE sells it with the rad unless you pay more 4th, I said 250 quidish JUST for the rad and nowt else. And now you've even listed the wrong rad. Maybe get all the facts before yer moan about summit or feel free to knock the brackets up and flog em perhaps! So NOW, i guess we'll leave at that shall we! Smithy
  12. I have sold these kits to a couple of people over the years and they were perfectly happy with them ;) For the money they are pretty good value, designed by a Zed owner to fit exactly as they should and with all the things you would ever need too. Smithy
  13. Soz but You got it wrong again. The koyo is £250 ON ITS OWN so no bracket. No company sells the bracket with the radiator unless asked for, it is and has always been a seperate item. For the work involved in making the bracket and make a few poxy quid profit for the time involved, trust me, £50 is cheap, as my previous link has shown And You don't have to have the bracket with the radiator, hence another reason why it is sold seperate. Smithy
  14. So don't you think 200 quid all in including the bracket is a good price then? Koyo rad on it's own 250 quidish, Howe about the same Zcentre a wee bit more than Dan's The rad is sold as is without the bracket simply because some are happy to make hodge bodge with the existing brackets, certainly do-able The bracket, laser cut and machine pressed and polished is an extra if someone wants it, but they don't have to have it. Check out the link below to see how steep you think Dan's price is on the bracket! http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=438&Car_Type=300&UID=2009082611572387.254.79.78 If Dan had simply posted up 200 quid all in, would you have still complained cos you wouldn't have known how much the bracket was! knowing that other brands are more expensive and even without a bracket.. smithy
  15. Oopps, well i was actually referring to a couple of garages who claimed they knew Zeds :nelson::D Some horendous pictures floating about here if you search!" smithy
  16. Hope this link helps mate. These boys have done shit loads of them :) http://www.zedworld.co.uk/wizzz.html Have seen some garages do it cheaper but then i've also seen why!! Cheers Smithy
  17. Arr nice one mate, glad to see it finally up and running :) Now you can see when taking yer Zed to a decent garage in the first place, the difference in workmanship and customer care :-) Bet you never thought those 2 things existed with your car eh lol Hope it all pans out good for yer with the mapping too. smithy
  18. Jesus mate, glad you finally got there in the end. I take it Jeff only had it a wee while compared to the others mentioned, oh and love the choice of words "this took a while" :x: Well done! Smithy
  19. This is of course assuming it is the turbo's. Many years ago similar symtoms and it turned out to be piston rings and 1 knackered turbo seal. Further investigation before parting with 2K ;) smithy
  20. Yep correct Si :) but Phil was also right too, camera was attached to a bar which was then suckered onto the bonnet. We then done the same for rear wheels which was good, but not quite as good as the front. Cheers Smithy
  21. Not photoshop, but a clever trick while we took the pic :-) Smithy
  22. Least you'll know it's a job done right mate. Plus they will check for anything else in the engine and make sure it's all running as it should do, you'll be impressed as soon as you get there :) smithy
  23. I don't think it's fair to say anyone is looking for Faults Daz. Everyone am sure and me included admires what has been acheived here and the balls this guy has shown in going for such a modification. All that is being pointed out is that these piddly sized injectors, like any others, do have a maximum they can flow to sustain a certain BHP. You've increased this guys power by something like a whopping 80%. They will flow what they will flow and that is it. So alls that is being said is that in this particular area of fueling, the power acheived cannot be sustained with injectors that cannot match the BHP, the mathematics dictate this and nothing else. However that said, if your happy and you are the mechanic, then stick by your guns and prove everyone wrong :) A fantastic job has been done here no question ;) On a side note and something i never usually comment about, BUT, you do get business from this site, you also get your name and company reccommended numerous times, i personally think given that and after all this time, it would be nice if you supported the community by subscribing at least. Good luck and look forward to seeing more from this car ;) Smithy
