  1. Geoff, as Andy rightly pointed out K+N, Stillen and JWT are basically the same filters. Do me own of course in all stainless with Blitz style stainless filters, everyone who's had em has been well satisfied, the twin kit i do which is very similar to the SE one costs a little more, however our intake pipe is stainless, theirs is 2 pieces of fibreglass siliconed together :o Ours fit flat to the AFM, theirs can sometimes be as bumpy as a local beach :o which gives for poor running, ours use high filtration stainless filters, theirs are from the commercial catalogue and are paper :o ask Brian corish what difference his cybercraft twin cone kit made over another well known model. I rest my case ;) cheers smithy
  2. Interpro based in Bristol did all the tuning work for Paul Bailey, so yes they are worth a shout, especially if you can get Dave Griffies there to work on it. smithy
  3. Mark i deal with Nomad quite alot and the only din panels they do are for Fords, blank universal ones may do if you cut and shut to suit, but Jaylock did these din panels which suit/fit our Zeds though not sure of opening sizes, would expect to be small though around the 52-58mm area, HKS also do em with 3 openings all 52mm, you can't really get any of the new modern jap gauges now in 52mm so best go for the Autometer range. cheers smithy
  4. Shaun, unless yer going for bigger turbo's and quite a few mods, then the Max clutch isn't really needed, the sport street kit will happily take power outputs around the high 400's, this costs £345 delivered from me :D have sold plenty of these here or i can match the price Ajay quoted for the Max version, am ordering 3 today so if you wanna get in on it, let me know by mail. cheers smithy
  5. I'm almost certain my leak is down to the window, it sits about 2-3mm down further than the other side when closed and even though it sits on the door seal okay i can just see the water coming in, so possibly yer mate is right, however when you take the targa off there are 2 drains, pour water down then and see in if it comes out under the car. cheers smithy
  6. Jaz, the turbo's i do for your power output are £500 each, difference between these and most other hybrids is they come with race spec stagger gap rear seals as standard, simply cos it's the rear seal that goes first in turbo's especially when de-catted, so why spend all that dosh and risk repairing them before you have too ;) if you want in excess of 500 bhp then it's the roller bearing jobbies at £875 each, bloody big and spool up very quick, same spec as the large HKS jobbies, but less lag and less money :D as with most Jap made stuff yer paying for the name. cheers smithy

Guys was a way last week discussing plans with new owners of cybercraft so wasn't around to answer yer mails, Rob deffo fit a full kit, after removing box it just ain't worth it doing disc on it's own and at £345 for the kit delivered, price is really good too. Andy, mail me if you want to place an order fella, will hopefuly reply to yer mail tonite. cheers smithy
  8. And what he meant to say was Smithy sells em :D Average price is £345 delivered, got 6 due in on Monday however they are all spoken for. Average cost is £180-£225 to have 1 fitted and make sure you replace rear crank seal at the same time, costs about 17 quid from yer local Nissan place. cheers smithy
  9. Stu, by sending your brass boss (which should match your sender unit) to us that comes with the gauge, we can match the thread in it and use a small stainless boss instead which is welded on the side of the top rad pipe which we make in stainless, the whole lot including silicone and hose bands is 45 squids. cheers smithy
  10. Stu, the boss for the water sender needs to be in either the top rad pipe or the pipe going to top of block, the first one being the easiest, have done a stainless top rad pipe with the boss on for a few guys before, when you get your gauges it has a boss with it, if you want us to do a pipe for you, just send the boss to us. cheers smithy
  11. Got one fitted to my manual supplied by SE, however it was there when i bougt the car, so can't say for sure if it's better or not, works well though. cheers smithy
  12. Cheers Aaron that would be a great help, i'm sure there is a connection between the seller and garage other than that of customer relations, so in which case rather than the garage losing it's licence, i'm sure they would tell the seller to sort out rather quickly !! and just a reminder, the MOT was done that very morning of the sale  cheers smithy
  13. Thanks fellas, just some of the 22 faults found, which i assume are part of the MOT testing as we don't have MOT's over here. Rear rack boot split and laeking fluid. PAS steering pump leaking. PAS hoses leaking. Propshafr centre supports very badly worn with excess play. O2 sensor missing leaving hole in exhaust and wires cut. 2 Tryes worn, 1 illegal cam cover gaskets leaking. door handle and lock US Front crank seal missing. Front track rods and ball joints desperate for need to replace. Front track Boot leaking fluid. Coolant hoses lose. That's apart from total loss of tansmission ( found out exact same thing happened 12 months earlier !!)and water pump gone. Will be pusuing this on Monday as i think a refund has gotta be on the cards plus expenses ?? The MOT is our only ammo really to get the faults ether fixed or push the seller into refund if the paper work was in fact made up. So does anyone in Leeds area know Station road garage in Morley, Leeds ? thanks anyways for all yer input. cheers smithy
  14. Glad yer all sorted now fella and hope you like it, brightens the area up very nicely, only 2 of these left now guys if you want one. Andy, Carbon is not a problem, however it does cost a little more at £67.00 , If Cybercraft gets sorted, sure we'll be able to produce more. cheers smithy
  15. Thanks guys for the input, please any more suggestions, keep em coming, i really feel for this young lad, first time driving in UK on his own and first time buying over there too and he ends up on the hard shoulder at nite unable to get hold of seller and 6 1/2 grand lighter !! and very worried, anyways the list of faults is growing, estimated cost is almost at the amount paid for car in first place :( so it looks like pursuing for money back, even though it was a private sale, i think the courts would feel symptethic (?) seeing as it happened after less than 20 miles, will look at the MOT garage, anyone know M.S Digpai in Morley, LEEDS, are they Greek cos i believe the seller is, Hmmm Thanks again and ANY help would be grateful cheers smithy
  16. Any one know much about GTO's ? it's the twin turbo 90 spec. Mate of mine who unfortunately is very young and naive bought a modded one from Leeds the other day, after handing the CASH over, 15 miles later it loses all transmission ( no clutch) then dumps it's coolant on the hard shoulder, stuck there in the middle of the night he decides you get it trailered back to I.O.M ( against my advice) £400 lighter for said pick up, i get the car inspected by performance engineer, seems it's a minger ! quotes of nearly £3,000 result in tears, so question is does anyone know how hard/easy gearbox removal is, Engine in or out ? Water pump removal the same and as rear rack is fooked, again hard or easy ? Unfortunately a private sale and seller made an offer that won't even cover costs of trailer  Oh and get this, car was MOT'd on the very day car was sold  Any ideas or help would be appreaciated.Though i am trying to get him let me bring it back and plonk on sellers driveway.... cheers smithy

Scoops, alot really depends on how far you want to mod, the AFC will adjust your fueling for you no probs, how ever one of a chips functions is to alter fueling but in line with other parameters, which in turn bring increased horse power, fitting the Apexi's after a chip will fine tune the chips settings ( which are often just preset for a range of mods) and enable you to gain a little more power but more importantly ensuring all settings are correct and safe for YOUR particular mods, so in short NO you don't have too, but you'll get more if you do chip as well. I use a Lumention small black box, £70 from Demon tweeks, it has 9 coloured lights that tell you the status of fuel mixture, nice and compact and looks well at nite, don't forget the ECU is a closed loop application, so take no notice of readings on it until after 2,750 revs. Dunno if the AFC has this function. Lastly charge coolers, could take some working on a Zed i would imagine, it's just another rad in principal which needs cooling and should the water jacket ever burst, can fill the engines internals full of water, hope some of this helps. cheers smithy
  18. Bloomin eck Stu, yer had fairly soon after ordered and forgot what it was ! Dohh Anyways, remove the bonnet stay catches, remove the centre panel nuts, place panel over opening pushing it down tight at back of centre panel, refit what you removed, job done 15 mins ? Alot of the incoming air has been found to escape upwards around th einduction area, rather than all going to rad area, this panel prevents the air escape. Idea came out many years ago in Japan and the first produced was Mines i believe, , just that i think stainless looks sooo better ;) cheers smithy
  19. Steve seem to have misplaced yer address details, can you mail me at cybercraft@manx.net with em and i'll get yer AVC-R out to yer. cheers smithy
  20. Had no under trays on mine for well over a year now, no draw backs or improvemants, just the same, no probs either when all roads were flooded over here a few months back, in fact me zed managed to go where many cars didn't :D cheers smithy
  21. Harry, just gotta sort the closing or re organising of cybercraft, then they'l be sorted well in time for the summer meets, so just look out on the forum when they are advertised. cheers smithy

Andy, one thing Paul forgot to mention there was, whilst the clutch was slipping it would then suddenly just bite and be okay, strange !! could this now look more like your thoughts above ? as i suggested to him the plate must have been contaminated with oil whilst being fitted. smithy
  23. Oh it will, cos i want em too, just have to sort company finances out first then they'll be sorted. smithy
  24. Spot the Cybercraft goodies, lovverly jubbly :D :D smithy
