Cruise Control??
My JDM 1990 TT works fine from 40-70mph, there is a mod you can do to expanded the range which I think you can go from 30mph to 100+mph by removing some resistors in the cruise control ecu box.

Radiator leaking
Do you have a thermo coupling (probe-fits inside of pipe) to operate a fan on the rad because I’ve got a leak from the same area which I need to drain the rad and sort it for JAE

This is what you need to get the auto spigot bearing out in the time you could say bl***y spigot bearing, it just grabs the back of the bearing and expands to grip then pushed out in a blink of an eye. I made it when I done my conversion and used it again when I helped andysxzx do his conversion.

argh! simple sum is beating me!!! think its too early on a saturday lol
Ok I got a bit carried away, its a 1990 TT auto which as a N/A manual gearbox, It’s still got the TT diff (3.692) but with the N/A box has the N/A speed sensor. Is there a size difference on the gear to the speed sensor? I have worked out that at 7000rpm in 5th is about 181.2mph in a TT, same rpm and gear but with a N/A diff it’s 163.8mph which works out (TTmph/1.10622711=N/Amph) which also means that you 0-60 times would drop as the number of engine rotation rise to the number wheel rotations but i have not got a N/A diff yet...!

being a bit of a eco(NOT) i filled my tank up full to go upto the JAE then at about 60/70mph with cruise control on which was off boost by a long shot both there and back with a stock ECU and done 300miles to about half a tank, now changed to a 1bar boost chiped ecu with boost controller and with setting the boost controller, going out over the weekend for a spirtited drive i've done 450miles with out my fuel light coming on. Please bare in mind that i've only been on the road for about three weeks now and the car has been of the road for about four years and as only done 51k, so i was taken it a bit esay upto the JAE and back but now playing with alot more horse's it's more on boost than off so and having so much more fun..........!

Thanks to the 300zx personal AA guys
Glad to help, well we found a new use for silicon boost hose and a small threaded bar! I think we got about 35psi in the tyre for you. Most of the times were there is a problem you can find a solution and buy think outside of the box you can overcome it...! If not improvise. Most of the time I’m making up tools for removing auto spigot bearings and insertion for spigot manual bearing into the crank and other things. Glad you got home safe

Thanks to KIM

Day 1, Auto-manual conversion :-D
I have recently installed a N/A gearbox with lightened TT flywheel, after reading about the problems of getting the auto-spigot bearing out so I made up a tool that works on a tapper, just pops though the centre and expands out gripping the auto-spigot and use’s the end of the crank to push out (see attached pic’s) ,, , , And when you have got the auto-spigot you then have to put the new manual-spigot bearing in so by using the flange from the auto flex plate i’ve made this, see attached pic’s ,,,, I also popped the new spigot bearing(needle roller type) and bearing holder in the freezer for a few days the bolted the main body on the end of the crank, popped bearing/bearing holder in the centre of the main body then hit it until it hit the stop on main body, then remove main body and with using the bearing holder tap spigot bearing the right depth. One Job done and many more to do....!
