  1. Doubt you will find any other make which go that wide. Parrelli are the only tyres you can get for Lamborghini, as they are the only manufacturers who make them wide enough.
  2. I have always thought your Z probably the best look Z out the lot. Good to see your love of your Z has been restarted
  3. Well Im the oposite. I had S02 and they lasted 8000miles, the S03 I have now have done 7000 miles and still have more than half on them. But they do get softer as they go down.

S03 are no where near as good. I have had both. The Porsche ones which are still around are softer compound than the original S02, that is why they grip so much in thw dry. DOnt last long though. :(
  5. I read one like that about ordering a pizza. They refused to pay because his medical records shows he has heart problems.
  6. its a lot more complicated than that though. In effect it does drift sometimes. It drags the back end out and then turns with it. It depends on the corner, speed etc
  7. I was telling a Nissan mechanic why when his speedo stopped working his steering went hard.
  8. Dont go over 3-4 psi. You are applying pressure to the wrong side where the pressure usually occurs. Any leak that would be heard after 3-4 psi is so small its not worth worrying about.

  10. Why go to Nissan for a bog standard dash board light bulb which you can get for 20p from any good car parts stockests, I even think Halfords has them.
  11. I was there but it wasnt me ;)

I was at a wedding over the weekend but was in contact with the cricket via internet phone and texts. Watched the last day (last day of play not today :D) the most nerve racking day of cricket ever.!!!!
  13. There are rumours that the Supra which was given to the journalists at its launch was not a standard one and was infact more powerful than the one you would buy. The official stats I have seen say the Supra is 4.9seconds 0-60 but the articles I have read where they actually test out the cars speed and not take the manufactures word for it, it was no where near 4.9. Most car magazines showed virtually no difference in 0-60 or at the most 0.1 second. I also read a web site of a person who owns and races a 300ZX TT and Supra TT in the US as an amature. He ended up crashing his 300ZX at over 100mph and he walked away. He felt that if he crashed in the Supra that he would have not been here today or he would not be walking. I personally think that the 2 cars a virtually the same.
  14. Do you know for sure where abouts in the engine its coming from? Could it just be 1 tappet making noise.
  15. Ironically, I probably got better mpg at 80mph than at driving at 30-40 round town.
  16. Never heard of a Z stretching a con rod. Are you sure the rattling is coming from the crank? You could have thrown a bearing.
  17. Went to Essex and back this weekend to go to a cousins wedding. Took my time getting there and back, but also did about 40 miles of not going below 80 and 30 miles or town driving and still managed to get 29mpg out of her :D Maked the very bed smoking problem even more of an enigma
  18. Die cast? There are some around, not many. I have actually asked model shops if they can order them and they cant :(
  19. I personally think dot4 is better. You get the racing fluid, I mean proper track stuff and its all dot 4.
  20. Audiograbber like suggested above will do it, also Windows XP and media player 9 and 10 (and I think 8) will copy MP3s to a CD to play as a normal CD.
  21. The purpose for CF bonnets is to save weight. It will save a lot of weight on a normal car but with the Z it will probably not even save you 1lb. So you are spending £500 or so on a part which has no performance value and will probably keep in the heat more, as the stock aluminium one works like a heat sink.
  22. No its just the obvious. LWB is longer and has 4 seats. SWB is shorter and has 2 seats
  23. It is not the tyre size which is the only factor in tyre pressures. It is infact the shape of the wheel which also has a major factor in this, according to a local well established wheel and tyre shop. Best way is to experiment, start them lower than you expected and go for a drive. Then increase them by 2psi and then go for a drive. You know when you got it right as the car feels a lot sturdier.

    At a wedding. DOH!
  25. The 300ZX with one turbo is a Z31 which is now very old. The 300ZX with 2 turbos is the Z32 300ZX, which is a lot lot faster than the Z31.
