I think it was designed with T-Tops in mind. The Z31 has T-Tops and I think the 280 did too.
  2. He probably thought that you would turn off. You where probably better off staying on the road. Or the was another patrol car further down which reported not seeing you. What was the limit of this road anyway? Does he have any proof of your speed?

You are cacking it because 1, It will be painful 2, You are paying some one to inflict pain.
  4. Well the chance of a Z being broken at any given time is quite high to start off with. ;)
  5. The 3 litre has 300bhp and the 3.5 litre has 350bhp. There is a new one coming out soon which will do 0-60 in 3.2 or something stupid like that
  6. Why you putting an oil cooler on a UK? They have them as standard.
  7. I saw a T reg 99 spec on the motorway a few months ago.
  8. I find that putting the nossel in virtually upside down works. Put the handle about 10-11 o'clock position.

Z32 and Z31 are really chassis models. In 1989 the 300ZX had a complete make over from the ones out in the early 80s. The car is totally different. Z32 Z31

you are better off asking that question at the http://www.zclub.net . They are more up on the Z31 series than we would be.

Personally I would say 400bhp with stock pistons, and 450-480 with stock rods.
  12. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=27558&page=1&pp=15&highlight=royal Original post of the meeting. Really easy to get there people.
  13. I wonder if he mistakenly said he wants to be ABOVE the law. LOL Sorry to hear about it mate. Apply again, just get some really lame excuse of why you want to join. You dont have to believe it.
  14. I think its processing power is one. It can calculate routes faster. Dual Layerd DVD ROM, will be able to hold virtually all major countries road systems. Its touch screen.
  15. I went from a Barton 2800+ to an AMD64 3200 and I am very happy. In theory the 2800 is faster clock speed wise but the AMD64 gives a nice performance boost. Plus the Barton would hang around 60-70ºC when working hard and I had some very good fans on it. Now the AMD64 I have has never reached 50ºC even with hours of hard gaming. I have got Win-x64 and it runs pretty much the same as WinXP. Internet explorer is quite a bit different. I have had the ability to use an actual 64bit program in Winx64. My dad uses Adobe Photoshop CS which is 64 bit ready. It is about 60-70% faster running in WINx64 than normal windows xp. Windows XP works fine win the 64 chip and you dont need any software updates. What you also may find in that Toms Hardware article a part about power consumption, that an AMD64 with the same performance as a Intel P4 with all the gubbins, uses about 16% less power. Plus lets not forget that the Intel 64 bit chips use mostly AMD 64 bit archtecture. I think AMD would have kept the best parts for themselves.
  16. In theory you are off topic as the original topic was of pictures of the recent meeting ;)
  17. there was one called ispypetrol But they could not get the sponsorship to keep it going.
  18. It is easy to work out how many figures the odometer has by counting the numbers
  19. Have you tried changing it with some one else's? Tried cleaning the connections? Did you do an ECU check?
  20. Yes you would leave quickly, 0-62 in 4.2 seconds. Top speed of 192. You could say that 300ZX are for people who cant afford Skylines ;)
  21. Any more information? Is it a UK or Import? Manual or Auto? Does this happen when you slowly accelerate or go quick? If you have not tried it accelerating slowly, give it a go. Its it the speed causing it of is it the revs? Try driving in 4th (Or 3rd if its an auto) and see what happens. First idea is the PTU or timing. I have had the PTU do exactly the same thing with me. It worked but only below a certain speed. Timing which is out can also cause simalar symptoms. You said that you regulary change the plugs. How often? And with which ones? Proper plugs will last 50,000 miles on these.
  22. This is what happens when you install Beta software mate. If its your normal windows, you could try a repair installation.
  23. I remember being in a nightclub with my girlfriend, and it was obvious that we where together and yet people still tired to get off with her, with me standing next to her. I know how you feel
  24. One of my favourate is Ketchup butties :D
