  1. There is a question mark and there is no question ;)
  2. Most people probably didnt know about it. I only knew about it after reading this page.

Do you have some ones wheels you can borrow to test it with?
  6. Since when as Yorkshire been in the midlands ;)
  7. Try thor, they do the LINK, which is a standalone which uses the existing harness I believe. You take out the standard ECU and put the LINK in and its totally reprogrammable. There is also DTA http://www.dtafast.co.uk/
  8. Do you want water pouring into your boot? Why have vents on a boot?

Just because tyres are not cheap doesnt meant they cant be bad. Look at F1 for instance ;) Hehehehe It could be the wheels buckled. For about a year my daily driver vibrated badly when reaching 70mph. I asked a tyre shop if it was my wheels they tested it and they said no, it could be the tyres. I changed the tyres when they needed, and still virbation, and I asked them to check the wheels again. Again, no they are not buckled. Some one gave me some old alloys which I put on my car, and guess what. Vibration went.!

Bad tyres, buckled wheel, torsion bushes, warpped discs. Take your pick. Its most probably the torsion bushes. Do you ahve polly ones or are they still standard?
  11. I believe Chris@greddy is the person to talk to for these. You can find his pages in the traders section
  12. There is actually a text number you can put in your phone and then put the phone near a speaker with the music and you will get a text back with the track and artist.
  13. Why not go to your local nissan dealer parts department?
  14. With cars with speed convertors its usually the convertor that is fault. Take it off and see if it starts to work again.
  15. I will move the PTU then. Where is the best place to put it? Near the where the induction is?
  16. Im working tonight :( Pitty it looks like its going to be a good one. I wonder if the new management will take the BBQ out.
  17. 16 times is speed sensor error. However, cars with a faulty speedo convertor will throw the same error. It will also cause the other steering problems you have posted about as the steering is speed related and its getting confusing speed signals.
  18. It is a series I PTU and still in the standard place. There are no Error codes but I will check tomorrow. This is not the first time I have experienced this and there have been no error codes afterwards. This was happeneing when the water temperature was reading just 100ºC, which is hot but not over heating. The temperature problem is going to get sorted out soon with a nice new Radiator.
  19. In his top 100 cars of all time, he has the 300ZX in at 96 or something. Not bad really, considering there is no 3000GT and no Supra.
  20. The car misfires when its hot. Some times it just wont go over 4000-5000rpm and its almost on hot days when the engine is hot too. Also when driving home on the motorway, the accelerator just stopped working while acclerating from 80mph. The car started to slow down. I had to let off the accelerator for a sec and then apply it again before it started to respond. My thoughts are A) PTU over heating. Its roughly the same symptoms I had when my PTU failed. IM thinking with the hot days and the fact my engine has been running quite a bit hotter lately that its over heating. B) The fuel is evoporating before getting into the cylinders because it so hot. C) Fuel pump is not working well and not pumping enough fuel. Personally I think C is unlikely as on cooler days there is not problem. Any you lot got any ideas?
  21. I feel traction control should be your next purchase ;)
  22. I have lost count the number of times this has been posted up
  23. All the do is give you the ability to adjust the camber. Saying that the stock rear setup allows you do to this anyway
  24. I got a cheap strut brase for my car and it made a huge difference.
