Blown rings I think. :( Either when running in, over heating, warped heads, heads not tight enough, pushing the rings too far, bad ring batch. I will find out more when the engine is back in small pieces ;)

I have heard that Zs heads can warp and people are always warned about it, but I have yet to hear of an unfortunate sole on here whos Heads have warpped

Yellow plug is the ECU water temperature sensor. The one next to it is the Dash dail water temperature sensor.

I wouldnt. It would be the Z32 engine is much better. Infact the 2+2 300ZX is about 100kg heavier than the 2 seater 350Z

Hello, and welcome to the site. When you replaced the TPS (Throttle position sensor) did you put it back in the right angle? Did you put a multimeter on it when you did put it back on? Have you cleaned the plugs on the sensors? They get covered in sulphur over time and cause it to lose signal strength. Any mods on the car?

Congratulations mate. The way to learn is to read what people say about their cars; read write-ups on how to do things, even if you dont know what it is on about, you will start to understand after a while, and you realise that is not that meanasing after all.

check every single fuse and replace the blown ones. Then get on you knees and pray that it works

They didnt download a virus, they just connected it up to AOL. That can **** any computer system up.

They can drive Ferraris for all I care as long as they catch *******s like they did. They caught 4 people who tried to kill as meny people as they could qith bombs and you car bothered about what car they drive. Firstly they would have deal with the car manufactures and will be paying nothing anywhere close to what we would pay per car. They would also be modified quite a lot. The cant go driving round in old cars because, old cars are not as safe as new ones. Standard brake setup on a Z now is not as good as it would have been when it was brand new. Those X5 would have been picked becuse, of their ability to carry other officers, space to put all of the quipment needed on a police vehicle, its speed, its power so it can take the extra weight of the quipment amongst other things. Imagine the specials unit with 4 people in a kitted out transit van going chasing a car in a city. It would topple over first corner

I not a fan of huge wheels as it makes the brakes look really really really small. Gives a sort of saxo look of having larger wheels just for the sake of it IMHO.

Could be temperature sensor. That gives off those symptoms

There is a fantastic silver one which goes the the Muscrat meeting every now and then. They are so beautiful. Better than the Z32 IMHO.

Twin Turbo. For starters supercharges waste power, like air con but worse. The crank has to power a heavy blower. There is no lag on a supercharger obviously, but turbos can push more air.
