  1. Where did you get the key from? Nissan should be able to cut it. They say they can cut ANY Nissan key. Stuart
  2. The drips on the back seat, is it coming from the inside of the boot or is it water that drips off from the outside into the car? I know what you mean about the acceleration first day I got my car I floored it in 1st, my belly went backwards. :D Now it seems really slow. Stuart
  3. The reason you probably get so bad wear on your tyres is becuase of the cambre on your wheels ;) My old tyres warn down in under 8000miles, but the inside had plenty. After I got the tracking done the tyres started wearing evenly but because they where already that bad they didnt last much longer. My new tyres are wearing very well. I think the outside is wearing slightly more than the inside, which is to expected by the way I drive. :D I think they charge £25 for the check and for an hours work if needed. Its £25 an hour after that. The longest it has taken me was 45 mins and during that time thry adjusted the front toe and the rears where toeing in too. They can change the camber if they can, ie, if the car can, but I think that takes longer. I went to them thinking that my canber was out when my rear tyres where wearing badly, it ended up to be toeing in and they said 1º combined toe in may not sound like much but, combine that with soft sports tyres, powerful car and rear wheel drive and it amkes a big difference. You get a nice print out of the values before they started, what it should be and then a print out of what it was after they finished. There is one in Warrington that does it. Its a Porsche dealer, but they charge £65 to do it then £40 an hour for adjusting. Stuart
  4. I goto a place in bolton who do a indipendent 4 wheel tracking by lazer. Some places when they do the rear wheels allign them using the fronts as reference but these do it correctly. They do a good job in it. Last time they took an hour to do it, but its all done proppery, on a ramp with lazers and they check the camber and adjust it if it needs it and can be adjusted. Costs about £28 to do, but its well worth it. Stuart

It is a really good film, but wars are always won by the side with the shortest haircut, "Think about it, why did the US Cavalry beat the Indian Nation? Short back and sides versus girly hippy locks. The cavaliers and the roundheads.. one-nil to the pudding basins. Vietnam, crew cuts both sides... no score draw." ;) There is a really poiniant part in Good Morning Veitnam when Robin Williams' Veitnam friend has a doing in blowing something up and when he confronts him he says that North Veitnam is not the Americans are the enemy cos they came and made things worse for them. Stuart

I had S02 on the rear and the only fault I could find was they only lasted 8000 miles
  7. Now you are confusing things. People are confused which way to turn it when they are upside down, putting a mirror into the equasion will make it worse. Stuart

How did you take the boost jets out? I thought they got sucked right down the pipe. Stuart
  9. Well if it was the other way he would be in the engine bay with him gaining access through the bulk head ;) I remember lefty loosy Righty Tighty
  10. Clockwise is always clockwise whether you are upside down or right way up. Thanks for that anyways ;) Stuart
  11. Ahh there is another thing Aaron. I heard that if you put a UK dial into a Jap dash, it will read MPH and the odometre starts working in miles too because its connected to the speedo. But if you put a speed converter on a Jap Kph the odometre still works in K's I just confused myself
  12. Yes UK ones are 180. But do you think that all speedsensors send the same information but its just the dial that inturprets it differently.
  13. Well may have something to do with KPH to MPH is divide by 8 times 5. Convert 8 to five. Anyone with a KPH dial that I can test with? Stuart
  14. Well thats what I thought. I asked TT.net and they said they all have different speed sensors which I find hard to believe due to the fact that speed sensors just picks up a pulse from teh gearbox, so if it sends different signals, its really the thing in the gear box that has to be different for Jap UK and US. I can under stand car manufactures making different electronics for different years, but not different gearbox internals Stuart
  15. Well I was thinking along the lines of a US dial. Do you reckon that would still then read correctly cos US dials are slightly different
  16. I got my rediator recored for £100. Lot cheaper. Stuart
  17. Am I correct in thinking, If you put a Jap speedo, including the electrics attached to it which moves the needle, into a UK dash, the speedo will then start working in KPH. I.e. if I was doing 50mph will the Jap speedo show 80KPH in a UK dash? Stuart
  18. My name down for a gear boot and handbrake boot? Just normal for me, black leather black stitch
  19. I thought that Glen, but when I boot into XP setup from the CD, is says press R to go into Repair console where you go into that basic DOS screen. Click install and all I can do is install over the top and it says that all setting will be lost and mydocuments will be lost too. Stuart
  20. If you just want more boost put boost jets in. Also just wanting more power as soon and as cheap as possible is the best way to blow your engine.

  22. Its not the screen of death that I am getting. Its doesnt get that far. My PC comes on finds CD's and HDD's, I get a screen for the dual boot, thank god cos it saved my life. I select XP and almost stright away get the error saying Windows cant start, missing or currput file in \windows\system32\config\system I have removed my memory too. It is strange cos it worked fine all day. I turned it off for about 10 mins and when I came back it wouldnt boot. Thanks for you help anyways. Stuart
  23. I was actually thinking bad RAM. The error message I am getting something like Windows XP cant boot up currupt or missing file at C:\windows\system\config Stuart

  25. I remember talking to a car salesman (sudder) cos I was looking at a Z they had there when me any my dad, who came looking with me, started to talk about the GTO to him. He told us that a few weeks back his mate bought a GTO and 200 miles later the diffs packed in. Not just 1 of them but 2 of them at the same time :( ouch. Stuart
