filing the stop to allow butterflies to open more!
Maybe the different year have different things. Cos this is a way of resticting the engine so its so powerful off the produciton line but can easily be un-restricted when you get it. The government may have put a stop to this method. Here are the pics of the adjuster. This is a pis of the throttle cover off. You can see the adjuster to the right of the throttle and cruise control cables. Here is the adjusting nut closer up. Its a 10mm if you are wondering. Stuart

I found an adjustment screw on mine which I just screwed in. I found that the pedelmoved 1/2 an inch lower and the mid range responce was better. Stuart

Vote to FAQ
On Twinturbo.net they have a section where they vote good posts to be stored on another page for reference. Reading the post by Hurman I think about the central locking, it would be good if we could have the same system. Or if some one wants make a page with a list of problems and then the solutions we found to it. Like click on central locking and then a quick word that some ones curtesy bulb, I think he said, blew and caused the problem. Stuart

245bhp rear engine very light. I heard the 0-60 is 5.2 But like many Imported cars there where a few versions of it. Some being more powerful than others. Stuart

This is what it looks like behind the rear sill. I need my front sills doing too. Its gonna get done in a bout a month or so. Get it done ASAP. Its the size of a 2p now. It will be the size of your fist in a few months. Once it goes though, it spreads really quick Stuart

P*ssed off I just have to tell some one.!
Wouldnt mind so much but I had to take my Z for 5 days because my sisters car broke and she used my Corsa. That alone is about £45 worth of petrol. Dont get that good MPG with the Z, cos in the morning there is a lot of traffic and its all stop and go with trafficlights and roundabouts. He tried to phone me about an hour ago. Im not answering the phone to him now. Stuart

Indiglo Gauges - an alternative
No, the hole in the middle of the dial is large enough to fit the needle though. So no need to recalibrate them afterwards. Whats with the blanking plate? Why dont people want the Boost and oil part? Stuart

Perhaps some one has seen sence and adding on £12,000 to the cost of a car just for importing it was reduculas. Stuart

Give everything a good clean.
A week ago my PTU packed in and I had to get a toe as the car wouldn’t even start. Took the PTU off and cleaned the connections with WD40 and some light sand paper and made all the contacts nice and shiny again and the car started first time. I would actually say that the car ran better, quite noticeably better. Even MAC says his car ran better after cleaning his MAS, after that stopped working. So I decided give my MAS a clean as cleaning my PTU not only made my car work, but made it run better. All I can say is WOW! The car feels so much different. 1st gear on a straight, the back was drifting out, and the revs felt a lot smoother and free. I even got the sliding feeling in 2nd which I have never experienced before. I am not saying that it will make a difference to every one, but it made a big difference to mine. Just thought I would share with you. Stuart. P.S. AndyP how's my spelling in this post? ;)

P*ssed off I just have to tell some one.!
I am supposed to be doing a placement for university. Yes I am at uni, for the people who dont know. ;) On this WORK placement I have to review the Uni Radiography department website. A whole 20 pages of it. Hmmmm. Oh and I have 8 weeks to do it! During my time at Uni I have learned about Networking, Systems Analisys, Computer Arcitecture(sp;)), Object Oriented Design to name a few things and learned how to program in Java, VB, C (shudder), Access, Orical, HTML, PHP and a few others and I have to review a web site for my final project/experience. So I am working with some one I dont know. OK no problems there. Problem is he hasnt turned up on 6 days in 9. One day I didnt go in but I told him so he didnt wast time getting to uni. I am just so f**ked off that I have wastesd 300 miles of petrol and £12 in parking for the little **** not turn up. And all of this he and done no work. Anyways I have just emailed my tutor and said that I am refusing to work with him from now on. He has just ****** me off so much that I had to tell some one. Out of the 6 days he didnt turn up he rang me 3 times saying he has just got up. We meet at 11 o'clock, that isnt hard to get up for is it? I work all weekend and 3 nights till gone 10 usually and I manage to get there for 11. 2 times he rang me while I was there said he was doing something else. Today I waited over an hour for him and he didnt turn up, and the next train he could have come on in was another hour away, so he would have been at least another hour away if he turned up.! Forgot to say one day he came in stoned of his ****ing head and wasnt able to do anything. Aggghhhhhhhhhhh! I just ****ing hate Salford ****ing uni sh*t. Rant over! Stuart (Very p***ed off and slightly worried about not getting my qualification)

Police- over the top!!!!!
Actuall I have never been pulled over by the police, just the plate thing on a slow day I think. Hehehehe The first week I got the car, a police van doubled back along a dual carrage way in the centre of town in the middle of the night and followed me for a few mins. I think they where checking out the plate seeing if its been reported stolen. Now I dont mind that. Stuart

Police- over the top!!!!!
Happened to me. Plod went past 4-5 cars in traffic, driving down the wrong side of the road stopped next to me blocking traffic coming the other way. Told me to put my window down and said, your number plate is illegal, the 7 should be next to your H. It was. Was was wrong was there wasnt a full space between the H and 7, it was half of one. Dont think he could pull me over cos the light went green and by now there where about 4 cars wanting to get past this pig car cos he was parked on the wrong side of the road. Wan**rs Stuart

Nice green zed
They the ones that MAC has? Have a look in his rides cos he tells you everything thats on his car.

Oh F**K it sub problems
In the boot there are only the side panels around the inside of the boot and I cant see them rattling. Try the tools in your car (If you have them.) They could cause the rattle. Stuart

can anyone HELP please???
Sounds silly but the needle mat be stuck. When I took my dial pod apart and played a little with the dials, but not the fuel! I noticed that if you moved the boost needle too far to the side it stayed there. But may just be a faulty sensor. Stuart

They have been on there for a while but about £36k cos they where Jap imports and not many in. That £26k must be the first lot of the UK ones. Stuart

Strange ZX....
They also did a Bluebird ZX too I belive. Stuart

can anyone HELP please???
Yeah the turbo gauge is electrical I think. If the hose comes off the needle stays at 0. If your turbos have failed it wont go over 0. Does the needle goto 0 when you turn off your engine? Stuart

Dunlop 9090 tyres
I have never heard of them. popular ones on ther are Falken, Bridgestone (Expensive though), Goodyear Eagle F1 and the Amarican Sports Tyre version of Mitchelin. Forgot the name. MAC has them. Stuart
