  1. Isnt Series 4 the 1999-2000 spec? If so you are still looking at £15,000-£20,000 for on of those. As far as I remember the final years spoiler was a 2 footed one like the 1994 spec, but where the 1994 spec the ends attached to the bonnet, they just hung over slightly. That made no sence at all did it ;) Stuart
  2. When I was looking for Z insurnace, I found it was cheaper to get insurance on a UK TT than on a Jap NA. Stuart
  3. Under the arm rest is a sticker telling what the pressures should be. Some cars have it near the door lock on the car. Stuart
  4. Cant see why not. how do you file it down? Do you have to take the plenium off?
  5. 1. Air con gas bottle 2. Intercooler, or diff cooler. More likely intercooer with those covers near.
  6. Take it off and clean the connections. Mine packed in last week. I took it off and cleaned it and the car never ran so good. Stuart
  7. What does it involve? Cutting away that little stump which stops the butterfly opening up fully? Stuart
  8. No. You are meant to have them along with a tool kit, jack and tyre iron. Stuart
  9. I love them, I would be in any group buy. Stuart
  10. Is it me or is the garage jack point on the rear diff? Stuart

    Ribbed For HER pleasure. ;)
  17. What forensics you gonna find on a trampoline?
  18. So whats with changing the timing then if you put LRP in? Do you retard it or advance it?
  19. Yeah but not to 50 or anything. I would draw the line at 40. Some one tried something like that the other night coming back from the cinema. I was doing more than 30 but less than 35 at 12 at night, 2 cars behind me, then the car at the back over took us both coming up to some lights and nearly went into the central res where the lights where. WHY? Stuart
  20. Yep LPR is 99RON. AY3388's friend only puts Super into his highly tuned Lancia Delta not able to find any Super he phoned Shell or Esso or something, and asked where he could get some. I think this was during the petrol crisis. After looking for him they told him to put LPR in becuase its is Super but they put some chemicals in to make it run like 4 star. Aren't you meant to change your timing if you put 4 Star in or LRP. Cos its has a reputation of burning valves out when put into Unleaded engines. Stuart

£8k for a Z should get you a very nice one. As said a UK one is significently cheaper to insure than a Jap one. I am a little like you, I am 23, but have 5 years NCB and 0 Points! ;) I've had my Z since I was 21  and I have been skint ever since. How you get you points? Speeding? WATCH YOUR LICENCE ;) LOL. You can do 100mph in this and its so smooth and the engine is not even trying you dont notice your speed. I am currently looking for insurance at the moment, and tried to get a classic policy, but every one has said I have to be 25, except Firebond who quoted me £850 fully comp on a UK Z, with Mods, which are Induction and Exhaust. Tesco and other places add £200 or so for those small mods, :(. The closest quote I have been given is £800 but that is Third Part Fire Theift. If I was you, and you have the parking space. Spend £6000 on a good Z and then spend the rest on another run-a-round. I now have a Corsa 1.2 which is used for the general running round, to and from the pub, work, girlfrieds, friends. The short trips put miles on very quickly and make your MPG go down to 10ish if you just pootle. I used to spend £200 ish a month on fuel and I dont really go anywhere. Its now come down to £70-£100 at the most because the Corsa gets 30mpg round town and 43 on the motorway. Lot better than the 15ish and 24ish. If you phone Firebond and get classic, you will be restricted to 6000 miles a year, but your NCB will be free to use on your 2nd car. You need a 2nd car to get classic. If there are any other questions you want me to answer, let me know. Stuart
  22. Yes. When you drive past the fire station about 100 yards before you turn into GPS. 30 Zone, I was doing more than 30 but less the 35. He flew past (Well for him he flew) got in front and then slowed to 35 ish. before turning into GPS 100 yards later. I presume that is where he was going, he had a GPS sticker in the rear window. I thought it was very strange, but I was more bothered about my car braking down that day. Stuart

The fuse area is near the accelerator pedal, near where the bonnet release is. If yours a Japan Import? Cos the fuse lable will be in Japanese. :D Stuart
