A switch? Well if it's got one then it would come in useful, but then where would you locate it so it's unobtrusive?

Each side has it's own wire run, but they both go to the same invertor, which would be a bit on the big side to be anywhere near the roof light. My invertor is next to the interior light relay, which is behind the passenger rear quater panel (seat out, panel off job). My invertor has burnt out, so it's a good idea NOT to leave your doors open too long, even with the light switch set to off!
