ok i have got my series 2 PTU come in.. There are two clips either side with the loom cut off however arer the connections the same as the PTU S1? can i take the plugs of either side of the S! PTU and swap them straight on to the Series 2 PTU? or do they have different connectors and will only have the choice to splice them in? cheers all

around here there are loads of chavs that are driving their saxo's sitting in their chair with the seat right back... music pumping, bucket seats with racing harness and yep......... you guessed it........ no tops on...... what muppets!

got new coil pack connectors and new injector plugs being made for me so hopefully come friday it will solve alot of problems.. only thing left if it still missfires is to check PTU (getting rep) and coil packs. will keep you informed of what brand of sparkies went in when i get them out

Hello, Payed for membership over a week ago. I think the nice lady went on holiday and just wanted to check if my membership pack is due to arrive soon? not heard anything as of yet but however this may be because of backlog.

ok im sorted for plugs now.. got a pair of 6 for £41 before delivery.... result ^^ i ordered 11C as im standard however my car is missfiring at the moment and getting worse.... one thing i noticed is that the reciept for spark plugs changed ages ago were showing as each plug at £3. >. hopefully when my new plugs come the missfiring should be solved :hyper:

thanks for this :-) it clears up alot. however i do apologise but it seems my knowledge is worse than i thought... it doesn't show the injector cables.... is this sharing the same area as the coil packs or am i completely missing the point?

cheers bud.. i think aslong as i got a picture of some ones engine bay and a circle dotted round what the connectors looked like? obviously not every single injector plug etc but if someone can point one of them out i can atleast find the others. the more of these i get pointed out the better. i have looked on the online manual but apart from seeing the plenum or engine and wiring i can't seem to locate where the index that leads me to the injectors or coils are. that online book is blimming HUUUGE. dread to think the size of the real manual..... must be like 2 yeloe pages books

Hey all, I am later going to be cleaning the connectors this covers injectors, CAS, TPS, PTU and whatever else, My car is misfiring and for now I will do a simple clean to solve it until payday. Quite often I push down on the 6 connectors that are between the gaps in the plenum and always thought they were the injector plugs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, after looking into more info now I understand they were the Coil packs connectors. So my question is this: Where are the injector plugs and can someone show me a diagram to locate injector’s plugs, CAS, TPS, PTU and whatever else I may need to clean the contacts with? I am looking to get some WD40 or wonderwheels, wire brush, super fine flat headed screw driver, some cable ties, Black Tape etc and hopefully doing this tonight. Please can someone show me a few pics showing a finger or drawing to where all these can be located as i am following a good guide from these forums however i am clueless at to where the connectors are Thanks again

AHHHHHHHHHH. please don;t tease me ^^ Must Resist geek fest. i recently built myself a pc for the purpose of running 4 clients of wow on the same pc and levelling all 4 in a party of my own to 60. i was getting 4 x 60's every 2 days /played using the RAF (recruit a friend) system that entitles you and friends you invited (in my case 3 new accounts) and all members in a party get triple exp. Used to get named all sorts... Cheater, botter however as blizzard states it is not against terms and conditions simply because it is you controlling all 4 accounts (using key clone) instead of a bot that automates everything. this is how bad it got before i quit......... it was my wowcrack and nothing was getting me off their..... like i said i am lukcy i am still married and now i play consoles perhaps a few hours a week and now we are both happy. MMO's are fun but i got a little tired of not achieving anything. there was always something to be done in order to complete things. so if you were on xavius server (alliance) and you saw a group of 4 chars ganking you it could well of possibly been me :-) Now....................... i'm free and replaced one addiction with another.... the zed

ok . so what am i looking at for a decent replacement that can handle 400-450bhp? i would go manual but the mrs drives and loves the auto when poodling

what's the max bhp the autobox can support? is it around 350 - 400 before having to alter?

nice looks good. where the hell do i buy new pipes and cables and all the general bits of cabling that wear out. also what would be the best way to get the engine cleaned and painted? i am getting very excited to doing my own engine rebuild... now i need to buy a used engine stand and engine crane

well i have not really set a budget as such. I know it will be pricey but that was why i started ordering parts now so it is not as big an impact when buying bits here and there every month :-) so basic list would i need to do for 400bhp? i might do the 450 if it involvs most of the stuff on my list but just curious at what is needed for just 400 horsies
