i would think this works for BIOS password. after reading some web searches it seems you are right. i really am wondering why he said it now? he was south african and a little hard to understand for me. maybe he ment bios and i wasn't listening ( most likely) But then again i remember other students challenging him so im sure he did say it.

yeah i had problems with these clowns from the start. payed for 20 MB service which kept D/C every 10 mins. pain in the backside when you play online games. anyway didnt want to go elsewhere as normal phone line can only handle under 1 meg due to location from box. after 37 phone calls and 3 engineers i got it going and its been constant ever since. last 5 months have been bliss.

well when i done a course last year for Cisco ( which i hated and left) our teacher who was a bit dodgy told us to take the motherboard battery out. its fairly small. but if you place it in tin foil and in a freezer for so many hours it resets. something like that. he really did seem like he has stolen a few in his time ^^. wouldnt suggest it tho as risky. either that or re install vista ( pain i know) but aslong as he hasnt placed password on the bois where you have to enter a password just to load the system then he should be ok. ive done that before and i coudlnt even re-install windows.....

well funkySi.......this is the first forum i've ever been in.........and probably the last! im afraid i havn't seen what's before it as it is split into different episodes. i never got to watch this last lot and this one ended on 40. Thanking my wife that she accidentely recorded it. Funny thing was they put a sign in the bottom left of price now and then.... and they got the prices the wrong way round on all the cars. thanks to this show our car was worth 10K and now 35K ^.^

ok well....... can't argue on that as i dont have much knowledge of motors, gaming is my thing and i was tea boy and sweeper........... HA HA HA HA ! although i did get the privilage of taking apart a 300zx engine once... just not back together.... as you can see i didnt want to work their long (but would you want a 16/17 year old taking apart and building you rengine after being experienced in tea making??? ill have to make you all a cuppa tho ^^

hehehe ^^ . the thing is when i used to be a teen and worked saturdays with him for pocket money as me mum moaned to get me out of house after leaving school i used to see the engine so many times. it looks like a standard engine thats been painted . newer pulleys and pistons but surely a 300zx engine 900BHP is near on impossible without changing most of the external buts too for a stronger block?? give him his dues hes done something with it and spent time but...... he hasnt started it yet so....... will it - just will it even start? the amounts of times he used to come hme from work in the space of 4 years and i would ask him if any progress made on finishing car..... nope! guess it will sit there until either it rots away or someone asks to buy it

this is my step fathers 300zx ( i hate it tho) it is like that as he was apparentely getting customers cars done first so never got done. although i have pictures of the rebuilt engine (somewhere) that went into that thing. was told engine was down to every last nut and bolt and was gonna run 900bhp and only used for santa pods 1/4 mile. when i did get on with him we took the engien down to max power 2005 as a display. pain in the arse to get in the van but it got to the NEC. wanted to change paint although not sure to what colour. now that i know how much of a b/s*&ter he can be i am very doubtfull. allthough that has been what hehas been working on for last 5 years. engine first body last he said

really? did it match the car ok? is it easy to do? My step father used to own samurai performance engineering but they were *&*%" and i don't speak to him as hes a door knob. but they owned an spray booth oven and paint machine and i wish i watched them do it more, i know it has to be well ventilated and clean with no dust when spraying. any advice on how to spray fender myself as i dont wanna speak to the door knob ever again. maybe i could pay someone to help me ???? ^^

you are all so helpful ^^ does anyone know someone that can paint seperate pieces of body work i.e fender and match the colour to the car, its black but so far i have foudn people will only paint the items with the car needed spray for the rest. while i would want to do this in the future (and maybe a new colour) i can't afford it at the mo due to alot of activities going on these few months. i appreciate all the help you are giving and think its about time i subscribe once im paid on the 23rd (after all its clearly worth the money with the amount of help im getting)

im afriad i don't know. i felt and heard something but i dont know what. all i know is the cars back end went crazy. got spare tyre and getting a new one for the dead one but i don't know what to do about bumper and fender! reckon i can get someone to beat out the bit behind fender/bumber? i worry that buying one of each wont just do the job. surely a new bumper and fender won't fit onto the bits bent in? annoying thing is it went in for a oil change and brake pad change and was told tyre has loads of life left. guess i shouldnt of took their word for it

hmmmmmm thinking something has caught my tyre causing blowout. look at chip in alloy. really wierd as was drving sensibly. need to check road me thinks
