Thankyou for your worries. im glad it didnt happen on the motorway as i prob would of had no car (or worse....life) now i just need to get bumbper and fender sorted. still drivable after changing tyre but want her to look her best

yeah. got a picture which i will show later. tyre has a nasty tear. wished i had a manual when it happened as i would of shoved clutch in. unfortunately i auto so engine was still winding down after taking foot off. wish i had enough time to shove in neutral.

was driving home after visiting a friends and was about 2 minutes away from home when i heard a pop and my car came out of control. car slided to the left followed by the right. tried to shove car into neutral as i have an auto and this helped braking a bit more but too late............. hit a post and bent fender in. crawled home as i was close and inspected car thoroughly. important internals seem to be unaffected/crushed. intercoolers looked fine and car was still running like a dream. Really upset and even tho i have will get a new fender the bit under the fender i.e the wheel arch will need to be banged out or replaced. can anyone suggest or give me some advice on what to do. at the moment if i just replace the fender there will be a spot that the fender will be able to push in with hands. I know i may not be making much sense but i am really upset at the moment. i will include pictures that i have taken once i find the cable that connects to my pc. Once again please help me. Cheers

Hey all i need my timing belt changes and would like to know if anyone can recommend or point me to a garage in essex or near ( in essex preferred) that will change my timing belt? i looked a zed centre but they are in birmingham and its over two hours from where i am any help is greatly appreciated. yeah sorry but i am not good with words. i didnt literally mean investment as i know its not gonna make me money ^^ that why i do stocks and shares with my wife i just meant maybe i wouldnt lose too much money when i have to sell. i dont want to sell but when/if tax prices hit like they do in ireland then as much as i love the car i wouldnt pay that. while im not as intelligent as most people in the world i do realise the car wont make me money........ unless i made it a monster truck and went into compititions ( fat chance )

anyone of you in essex had a cam belt change and for how much? yeah i agree with diddy but unfortunaltely i got my car ( import) however it is a VERY good example of one. except i see all of these people with modded versions going cheaper than when i bought mine under half a year ago.

to answer snowyg's answer unfortunately that is the next thing on my list. i done a service a bit early. been 4500 since last service so next service was gonna be 64k but i want my cambelt changed. dont know prices tho. looked at zed centre for guestimates which showed up at about 300 quid. so i will do that in 1300 miles. anybody know wsomewhere in essex that is fairly good price/service ? ive had no problems ( touch wood) except from an annoying squaky bonnet ( old bonnet stops decayed and squeaking ) but got replacement ones coming soon. i am gonna start looking at a rear bumber which go round my exhausts and 99 spec lights but i think ill leave the rest of the car standard.

i see that people who own supras are still holding on to there prices and refusing to get with the times and lower the cost. they still ask for 6k for a decent one and it aint change dmuch so far .......... reckon they will get sold at those prices now o.O

yeah well that was my initial thought however i have looked at 300zx for sale and they seem to do some low mileage ones cheap as chips now. i though i had a bargain when i got mine with 58k on the clock ^^ . allthough they dont provide loads of details so maybe there are more problems than mentioned..

Hi everyone. I love my zed and provided i can pay to keep it running for 100 years i would drive it for 100 years^^ i also thought that this is a sensible investment as when it gets to classic car age 20-25 years it would be worth more. it seems that people are in a hurry to sell these and sell em cheap.... Even high spec ones..... whats going on...? is this because of the market crash or are they only going to kep falling and falling fast. i looked last year and a descent one would be 3-4 k and really good or high performance were going up to anything like 10k. this year a descent one seems to be 2-3 . i know that as tax gets higher the interest for these big super cars will drop anyway but so soon and quick? please let me know your thoughts and ideas Regards Damien
