  1. what the hell are in these. i was on the A12 at the weekend and a Focus RS pulls in front on me. we started racing but he was basically leaving me behind. i started to catch up but restriction kicked in and.... bah he got away. i know my car is heavier and i have limit restriction and auto goign into HIS favour...... but jesus what are those things....... i still love my zed but would a manual of made the difference or would i have to mess about with the car to beat it. i want to leave my zed stock and i can admit my car isnt that fast these days compared to all the lightweight high revving cars out there. guess ill just stick to driving it slow and not bother letting anyone challenge me ^^..... don't really want to die anyway!
  2. dirty minded ^^......... sorry maybe i should of wrote "my ass is hurting from that damn wife and strap on" getting pics ready. might have to wait as boss is looking over shoulder :-(
  3. im back ^^ was great. got some pics that i will post later......... body aching from paintball and ass killing me from those damn bicycles ^^
  4. Heya everyone, I'm off to centre parcs now with my mates, i am really excited as we got the executive lodge ^^ whilst it is too expensive for 3 nights (1200 for lodge) between 8 of us its not too bad. got the Z packed and cleaned and polished/waxed and about to leave. I will reply when im back and get some photos too. i might be intouch via the internet as these villas come with a pool/games room and have ps3's in them so i might be able to use that for the forum. I hope everyone has a great weekend and i just hope the sun holds out for me today to get the tops off (although its meant to be raining) catch you all on tuesday. Regards Damien
  5. my cambelt was changed last tuesday bu NEXUS in southend. i dropped the car off at 9:45 and picked it up at 5:30. and my car wasnt the first to be seen to. runs like a dream but what im trying to say is nissan could be right.....
  6. yeah your car was a bit of a mess.......but nothing a little wash won't fix. ^^
  7. yeah just the cambelt as i had the other stuff done previously. water pumps and stuff changed by nissan not too long ago just didn't have paper for a cambelt change so thought i would make sure it has one. 270 quid for it which im happy about... especially with the amount of customer service i got. bargain.
  8. erm.... yeah ....... i feel silly now ^^ i wish i read things more often
  9. just like to say thankyou to santa who helped me change my wing last saturday. i really appreciate the help he has done and im glad to say my car is back to her sweet self again. cheers
  10. well it turns out i had original belts on. good thing i got it done. talk about close ^^. pulleys are ok but he reckons i do them this year, which i will ..... a couple of other little sniggles that are simple but nothing to worry about. saw your car there :-)
  11. woohoo. just got my car back and drove it home. it is running better than ever before. nexus have done a great job and i'm taking my business there in future ^^ i highly recommend these guys and would recommend them any day to anyone. Thank you to the team at nexus for doing such a great job with perfect timing and excellent customer service. ^^
  12. sweeeeeeet! ^^ but im going to do it just to make sure ^^. thankyou for the info? also.... do you know if i have to wear in a cambelt or can the car be driven normally after the belt change?
  13. hmmmmmmm...... i was told the jap models never got undersealed as they don't use salt for their grit in japan, instead they use volcanic ash or something like that.
  14. yeah. hehe. well ill tell you how it goes tonight. im sure it'll be fine. does anyone know if im meant to take it easy after changing cam? etc not too high revs or running in as such? etc
  15. yeah its the same ol with mine. the first time i saw it on a ramp i was wondering about the mess underneath..... it was perfect and im lucky considering no underseal. this year i am going to get it undersealed so that its done before the winter. mine isn't too bad inside however i do tend to have macdonald burger boxes left in them. took em out today tho ^^. the only car i got to see ( as i never looked past it ) Was a white 200. took me fookin ages to find the place tho.
  16. kewl. ill get to see what your car is today ^^ i didnt really get to glimpse in their as i was late for work ^^
  17. yeah true..... meant to be working myself..... this office sucks

  21. brilliant. thanks mate. now i can get my new fender on ^^
  22. can someone point me towards a guide for removing a fender and the same for the front bumper. ssen one here before but cant find, Cheers
  23. i think his is the best way although it not certain. but it will take longer for the case to settle. it all depends how he done his claim. when he made the claim he might of been advised as to write down every single bit of loss he has made due to the accident. If your solicitor asked you to mention all the losses you made then it should be ok, but if she just made basic details at the time and you never got to explain all the losses then it might look like it isnt as serious as wow300's claim which will result in less money as she won't have as much to throw at the oppenent. It all depends on how she done her job and wrote down your claim. Just so you know a wiplash can last longer than a year, my wife had a crash a year before i met her and she still suffers 3 years later. unfortunately she never made a claim before the 2.5 year cut off date so it was gonna be too hard for claim to be processed and proven. I think that alot of doctors think doing a placebo affect on us. they say you will recover in a year and then you believe it. It is not accurate timing and alot of people will suffer for the rest of their lives with it and pay out loads like my mrs in physio therapy. I personaly think if their is a way to get more money because of your suffering then put up with the extra time as you ll need every penny for your physio should you need it (even if you only get 500 - 100 more it's surely gonna help out more). Obviously dont refuse to accept offer when your solicitor recommends you accept as this can lead to more troubles and time wasted without getting any extra money Like i said...... it;s all about gambling really
