  1. The U/J that connects the rack to the column wears and creates this problem, only takes 20mins to change, easy DIY job but cost me about £120 if i remember correctly from Nissan Baz

  4. Hi Mate, The auto ecu can be used with a manual box but not vice versa, also the diff is the same but the prop is different. HTH Baz
  5. I had the aircon belt tensioner fail on my last Z, squeeled like a stuck pig. Baz
  6. It's a 22mm, i found a crows foot best. You'll struggle to get any leverage with a spanner. Baz

  8. Hi Mate, It's not just a flush surface, there are 2 squash rings on them, which when there old and knackered can look like part of the pipe, the end of the cat pipe has a raised section at the end for it to sit around.. Don't know if it is present on decats. Hope that makes sense Baz

  12. Hi All, My car is idling at about 1300rpm, i've set the TPS, removed/cleaned/refited the idle valve, if i remove the yellow connector off the idle valve it has no effect, can i assume it is knackered. Thanks Baz
  13. Do a search for a post by lack300 and put respray in the subject box. I remember him having the same problem, insurance paid for a repair but it didn't match so they ended up paying for a full respray. Baz

  21. I have the UK series 2 sales brochure which states the Twin turbo with a manual box has 278ps and the auto has 263ps. Baz
  22. Check the auto box fluid with the engine running and top up through the dipstick tube, Baz
