  1. The bottom end being pressurised would have no impact on oil pressure, the pressure is caused by worn piston rings. Baz
  2. Have you tried these http://www.centralsubaru.co.uk ...not too far away Baz
  3. I'm 99% sure the chip they use is a JWT. Baz
  4. You want DC Volts, put the black test lead down to earth on a bolt/hinge etc and the red one to the wire your testing. Baz
  5. That's the one, 1" square and about 6-8 inches long Baz
  6. All thats needed is a Hicas Eliminator and bypass the Hicas Solenoid. Baz
  7. On a Uk car you will find instead of a joiner between the valve and the reservoir like in this pic there are 2 hoses going down to a power steering cooler but the process is exactly the same but obviously removes the cooler Baz
  8. Simply cut off the head of the forward most hose onto the hicas valve and connect onto the reservoir. Baz
  9. You need to remove the original rear steering rack and fit a Hisas Eliminator, then bypass the solenoid at the front. It's a very easy DIY job. Baz
  10. Going by the smaller stuff i've been stung by customs on, you're probably looking at adding about 25% on top. Baz
  11. Deffo a SR20 from a S14 200zx Baz
  12. No shouldn't damage anything but theres no pressure there to release Baz
  13. You need to lift the centre console, the gaiters held by some push on clips underneath. Baz
  14. I got a kit from courtesy parts and recon'd them myself, cost about £40 iirc for the kit to do both calipers. http://www.courtesyparts.com Baz
  15. I used mine today, after 3 hours to do a 15 minute journey home i've had to abandon it in an area i'd rather not have and walk, i'm just praying it's in one piece tomorrow. Baz
  16. Mines an 068E and it's a UK car, it's deffinitely the right one. Baz
  17. The correct model is an 068E Baz
  18. It's engine out to replace the damaged parts i.e piston/rings/valves Baz
  19. On my aftermarket gauge i get 90-95psi on start up and 25-30psi when it's hot. Baz P.S Recommended minimum oil pressure is 42psi(3 bar) at 3000rpm when hot
  20. It locks at no1 TDC but no1 is flywheel end not gearbox end like you would expect. Baz
  21. On the 8v engine there is a bung in the side of the block(gearbox end), you remove it and put in a dowel that locates and locks the crank, 16v may be the same. Baz
  22. You can't just fit a normal boss without other mods, there is no horn contact once the hicas/cruise adapter is removed from behind the original wheel.
  23. I'm Using a 16" kenlowe with a Koyo rad, i have an aftermarket temp gauge which shows that it does the job perfectly. Most of these fans can be swapped from suck to blow just by swappling the power wires around but mine is fitted engine side as a sucker. Baz
  24. I've got a 16" Kenlowe on mine set to come on at 85 degrees, i've had no problems at all. Baz
