  1. The series 2 has a pre-cat on the passenger side and so the cat pipe is shorter on that side. On the series 1 they are equal legnths. Baz
  2. There for the AIV's and PRVR, all the info you need for removal is on this site. http://s95014253.onlinehome.us/63104/index.html Baz
  3. Adrian Flux 08700 777888
  4. I've just been out and disconnected mine to be 100% and it made no difference at all. Baz
  5. Sounds like the boost sensor for the gauge. Baz
  6. You wouldn't have seen the piston rings while the head was off but the overheating could have damaged them. The piston rings being shot will cause excess pressure in the crankcase and cause excessive breathing which will be the cause of the smoking. Baz
  7. You need the plenum gasket, throttle body gaskets, idle valve gasket and egr pipe gaskets, it's probably worth getting new o-rings for the balance bar too, it's deffo worth doing the water hose bypass at the same time. Baz
  8. They're available from MJP for about £120 each, not too dificult to do but you will need the use of a press to remove and refit the rotating hub section. Baz
  9. Yes, you can remove it all the way. Baz
  10. That sounds very steep, i'm with Adrian Flux too, i'm 29 with full no claims and i pay £510 fully comp with £250 excess 10000miles on a UK TT parked on the drive. Baz
  11. I had a pair or original ones from MJP, they were slightly cheaper than buying a spurious make from my local motor factors. Baz
  12. There's no need to change the shocks for perished dust covers, just buy universal steering rack gaiters to replace them. Baz
  13. Below, surprisingly it is a very easy job. Baz
  14. Yes that's it. Baz
  15. 19" Dare Maya http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/4x_19_Inch_Dare_Maya_Hi_Power_Silver_Alloy_Wheels_.php Baz
  16. Check out this item, it's ended but you can contact the seller for availability. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8053946989&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 Baz
  17. I've had mine in and out by myself 3 times now on my back on the drive, tilting the engine back slightly make a huge difference, i struggled my ass off the first time before i figured it out. Baz
  18. Here's a few pics i took with my phone when i did mine. You will need a large 3 leg hydraulic puller and a small bearing puller set and access to a hydraulic press. Removal of the box is surprisingly easy, the best tip i can give is remove the 4 boost hoses at the front of the engine and use a jack under the crank pulley to tilt the engine back slightly. Baz
  19. The spout has just broken off mine too, i'm waiting for my new Koyo to arrive from Chris@Getgreddy, i personaly don't think it's worth risking a repair on something that can scrap your engine. Baz
  20. I'm in great barr too, just up the road from hamstead village. Baz
  21. I don't know how to link a thread but Put "stuck pedal" in the search, there's a post by legrath with a pic. Baz
  22. The pins in the hinges wear just like any car, you usually feel the door drop slightly as you open it, dont know if they would be availabe from nissan. Baz
  23. Sounds like the pipes from the AIV's, you can remove them from behind the wheel arch liners when you decat. Baz
  24. http://www.speedways.co.uk Baz
