  1. Thanks mate, i'd guessed it was something like that but i thought i'd better check first, bit too expensive to rush and f**k it up. Thanks Baz
  2. Hi Guys, Today i've tried to remove my original eprom chip to fit a socket, all the solder appears to be out but the chip is still very tight, i'm just wondering if there is any glue or whatever under it, i don't want to risk doing any damage so i thought it best to ask before getting a crowbar under it :D Baz
  3. Hi Mate, You don't need to remove the box to replace any of the solenoids, remove the sump off the box, you can then remove the strainer and about a million little bolts to drop the valve body down, the solenoids sit on top of that.. Not too bad to do really, i did mine but it didn't cure the not changing past second so i converted to manual to save any future hassle. Solenoids and sump gasket cost about £140 from nissan if i remember correctly Hope that helps Baz

  6. I've got a set i brought off e-bay for £40 all in, i've fitted them and had no problem at all, the ones i brought were IK20's and they are all i have seen on e-bay so they probably are too. If you've upped the boost you should really be looking at colder plugs i.e IK22 or preferably IK24 Baz
  7. Thanks mate, So can i trace them back and rip them out with the auto box ECU or do they go into the main loom Baz
  8. Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me what the 3 plugs in the attached pic are for, i've had an auto-manual conversion but i don't remember anything being connected to them beforehand, i'm probably wrong though.
  9. Hi Guys, The correct oils required for the gearbox and diff:- Gearbox--Redline MT90 Diff --Redline 75w90 gear oil I've got 3 litre of each to allow for a little spillage, just over £80 from Demon Tweeks inc post HTH Baz
  10. Hi Mate, I would highly recommend a set of Greddy gauges, i had a set from Chris@getgreddy, they look great and are really easy to fit because all you have to feed into the car is 3 wires. Chris did me an O/P, W/Temp and Boost for £305 all in which is a good saving on everywhere else i looked at them. HTH Baz
  11. Thanks for the info guys, should make life a little easier. Baz
  12. Thanks Mate, That makes ordering it easier, i'll do that now. I don't expect anything to be easy on these things anymore, what takes 1 hour on any other car takes 5 on the 300, it'll make for another exciting saturday anyway  Cheers Baz
  13. Hi all, I'm planning to change my gearbox and diff oil, i've done a search and found that 75/90 is needed for the box, i'm planning to use Redline MT90 but i can't find what goes in the diff, the manual says API-GL5 but i've got no idea what that is. Any help appreciated Baz
  14. Hi Mate, I bought mine from NE Performance for £50 all in, which seems to be about as cheap as you'll find 'em. Baz
