  1. put me down, i'll send a cheque off to cover it, cheers
  2. mine is on the roof between the targas, just looks like an old style phone aireal to me and really short get no probs with it
  3. 1 of my uppers cracked after lots of squeeking a few years back (old style adjustables), figured it was because at the time i didnt have adjustable lowers which of course i do now.
  4. FPR is on my list next, i've heard this come up from time to time. Dont want more gauges but a FPR would be handy aswell probably abit hard to look at it at the right time drivin on the limits as you need your eyes straight in front! Be good to have a bulb that lights up if the pressure drops so you can just catch it in the corner of your eye but i wont have a clue if that was possible or not.
  5. this is what i've been thinkin about lately. I'm about to get my car back with 555's in and was planning to run them close to the max but should i of got an after market rail i'm wondering
  6. Many moons ago i was taught if getting cramp take salt or more salt with dinner, always works for me ever since! I do know too much gives high blood pressure mind. I always just use loads of salt for a few days and no more cramp.
  7. I would be interested in this as i don't have a signal at the ecu but the speedo works fine.
  8. Same problem, had to go really close on the inner arches to get lined up caster i think, much better feel to the car but like you say problem rubbin. Mine rubbed and spilt the coolant bottle once! If i remember right i un did the intercooler and moved as far forward as possible and new bottle, but no i dont have the finished answer really.
  9. check the pipework from tank down does flow down, if you get my meanin or hence air lock
  10. If you cant use the sides to hold up the bottom (meanin you have a limit to the overall width). You must pva the bottom of steel (very inportant) then dot/dad with dry wall adv using a timber straight edge under with a few timber batten props to hold it up, leave overnite and remove. Gripfil (slight) corner beads apply 2 (maybe 3) coats of 'easi-fil' (filter) then rub down (120g)/ sponge off (damp only) paint, finished.
  11. IMO fit some adjustable arms at the bottom, i have an early set of upper adjustable arms and one started to snap ! (but now sorted) and i was told you must change lower arms with upper. Which of course is what i done.
  12. I'm tempted to order one mainly for the blu-ray dvd.
  13. V Good call by 'Paul C' i just watched GMTV and loads of car O2's down from tesco asda fuel. I love this site, brill for tips. Thumbs up from me.
  14. Theres a small bolt by the oil filter thats what i removed and fitted sender to. Probably find it on a search, thats the way i found it.
  15. I'm 40 and with 'houghtons' £260 full comp 5000 miles/yr, and they don't use no claims.
  16. Or you could splash out on the jl audio sub box.
  17. If a brought again i would check all the electrical connectors under the bonnet, may sound odd. If they are cooked chances are all sorts of small but annoying problems/break-downs. Compact area and i would say alot of heat, hence i have vents now! Aswell as all the usual.
  18. do a search on n/a diff. You can change the rear diff (n/a) or new internals to give more low down power and drop top speed to about 145/150 i think. Which on our roads shouldnt be a problem !
  19. Got mine years ago from someone mike knows (mjp). Based close by him, cant remember his name now. Thinner nuts, ie: smaller socket.
  20. Same problem, andy sounds about right. I have run mine on the consult and NO signal, was told it may be dodgy de-limiter.Thats what i'm going to look at next. Really is a pain hit 6,500 revs (just about to change gear i may add) and yes like hitting a wall, engine just dies for a couple of secs ! worse in top gear. On the consult the injecters go right off then on again (i data logged it) so something is cutting the injecters i think. I have got a water leak off the targa tube i think, is it related !? Good luck i'm interested in this.
  21. Same as check with danny (dta), he has all different set-ups.
  22. Received mine, and very good much better then last years, cheers
  23. Are your wheels still spining true? i have a mate works at a type shop and i watched my old set (on there machine) and saw the buckles/ slight twists and he still balanced them ok but never quite got rid of a similar problem. Just an idea.
  24. well i have 8.5 front and 9 rear on 235 35 19 and 265 30 19 and they are to small ! ie: kerbs etc. next change im going 265 front and something like 295 rear. Looks silly to me if the wheels stick out more than the tyres plus the cost of damaged wheels.
