  1. Abit worried about the oil lines i had made up to turbos (greddy td05 18g's). I have read the oil should have restrictors to the turbos. I e-mailed the company that made the oil feed lines for me and they said they can supply me restrictor bolts or in line but! some turbos have the restrictor built in and i should find out first. Can anyone shed any light for me?
  2. sounds like the same problems i just had. Cars been off road nearly 2 years. Had odd electrical things happening, the way i sorted it was unbolt the ecu complete and re bolt, test with conzult if ok there than it run ok. Sometimes took a few goes. I know it sounds odd and also i alarmed alarm on/off.
  3. I recently just got back on the road after nearly 2 years and had a nasty noise. Sounded like the top front left cam belt area, but turned out to be power steering! Just sharing similar problem in case it helps
  4. I got 'hose solutions' to make mine up for me (18g turbos), and now i'm worried abit about smaller diameter !
  5. impressed aswell
  6. Theres a write up at twin turbo.net by 'midlifeZ' 'Auto conversion to 5 speed wiring info'. I try to copy and paste the addy. http://www.twinturbo.net/net/viewmsg.aspx?forum=technical&msg_id=1001493&forum=technical&dtSearch=8
  7. Its neater to keep the auto loom and it connects behind the headlight, where as switching to the manual loom dosen't. But i do know a couple of changes to make like to the inhibitor.
  8. Just had another go at that conversion and 420hp = 555 injectors. So am i right in thinking when shes back on the road the main thing is not to run over 80% duty cycle on the injectors? ie:start with low boost and work up to find the safe highest boost for the injectors?
  9. Yep i had a go on that and got more confused! I put in 550hp at the crank and it said around the 720 mark needed! I thought with 555's you should get about that back in hp, even if abit towards its limit maybe.
  10. I've got greddy 18g's from mike so i better be careful i think!
  11. I just done abit of internet reading and i think i understand. Using bigger turbos keeps the heat down which changes the 'air' which in turn produces more power. This is well complicated!
  12. Surely it dosn't mater what turbos are used. I understand different turbos would get to ' said' pressure in there own way, or have i not got my head around this properly?
  13. Just wondering roughly what psi boost can be raised to with regards to 555 injectors? I realise its a completely different question as regards supporting mods etc
  14. I have conzult and laptop, your welcome to pop over check things while parked or have a drive and monitor up to you
  15. For everything i got, both sides banjos, bolts, washers £35. They did do me half price as they didnt have the 300zx pattern. I got a result there i think!
  16. If it helps anyone out whos after braided oil lines to feed the turbos i passed on the pattens to 'hose solutions', and just received them in the post today look really good. I would put up a photo i took but dont know how to on here.
  17. If your O2 sensor isnt working that would fail it. I had this ie: one O2 not working and too high so tester (who i got on well with) switched to the working side and hence passed

You can add me to the list, Andover area
  19. For the vacuum blank-offs go to your local motor factors and ask for diesel injector return bungs (or something like that), perfect tight fit.
  20. Does anyone know if the sensor fits both auto and manual. The reason i ask is have a manual, would a reverse sensor from an auto box fit/work ok?
  21. def worth having but no matter how much i tryed it wouldnt work on anything but a serial port, which i dont mind. I keep an old laptop in the boot at all times, like a must have repair tool as well as recording a drive around and playing it back later to check things. Brilliant bit of kit.
