  3. can i jump in here aswell, i swapped auto to manual and i think i have the same problem. I noticed on page 'EF & EC-175' (pin)44 neutral switch if in neutral 0v but when in gear 8.0 - 9.0v. I may be being thick but if its eathed will there be any problem when in gear?
  4. Fitted mine yesterday and late last night in the dark they looked amazing ! A smart looking mod there, well pleased.
  5. Philips 32" (32pf9986) is brill! Just brought one last month, £1800 mind. I looked for plasma at first but lcd looks miles better, also looked at the top sony and lots none anywhere near as good as the philips,(and hd ready). Nearly forgot ambilight is cool and loads of best buy from mags, but everything changes quick i know in this market.
  6. My abs has never worked but decided to check the control unit and got 2 flashes back. Done test as to manual and got 'replace actuator', is this just the black box or whole thing in the boot? Not sure if i should start repairing as i think when fixed if more faults will only then show? Also got bigger/better discs/calipers, and heard abs is not so good? Any help appreciated.

  10. I get the same trouble in the wet but only going through puddles. I figured water coming up to filter from underneath, off inside of the front wheels. I've planned on putting a guard under, not done it yet so still avoiding puddles, don't know if this is any help or more confusion!
  11. I agree sounds were always sh*t intill i done complete re-wire of stereo system
  12. door cards: i took off all tweed, stanley blade vingl under, off with foam, smooth over and stick on lukes new leather, lastly pvc black piping siliconed in all edges and around door handles job done! Seats: used small wire cutters snip/remove all hog rings, hog ring pliers £25,hog rings £1.50/100. The only extra thing i done was stuck 1/2" foam to bottom of all seats. Good luck, takes awhile but well worth it.

I have adjustable upper arms on and had to put on adjustable tension rods to counter act and pull wheels back away from the front archs, but now being all adjustable you can get a near on perfect alignment. I would like to know why your not suppose to fit adjustable upper arms without adjustable lowers, as i have read alot mind.
  14. My mates just came back from japan with said timer for me. Manual is in japaneese All fitted but don't understand some settings, mainly getting onto auto If anyone can help much appreciated. I did run a seach and paid £15 to somewhere in uk for a manual but i got a part manual for x not xt.

  18. Just spent the best part of the weekend working on my baby, and what do i have to show for it....... 20 various cuts thats what!! and i haven't finished yet. I've come to the conclusion that my hands are too big! Just thought i'd share that point with you. :wack:

  20. don't think it had wide archs, big (19" maybe) chrome looking wheels, spokes had lime green on! think it was h reg, rear spoiler stickers really smart paintwork.Never seen it before.
  21. Saw a smart lookin lime green with black bonnet,nice wheels too! Anyone from here? O nearly forgot parked up on walworth Ind.est.

  23. 6,000cfm! electric fan i got is half that 3,100cfm, so i'll have to watch my temps then!
  24. I fitted 2 x bonnet vents as my first mod to car (as close to under wiper areas) as my car had head gaskets gone (before i got it) and the heat that pulls out the vents is alot! (mainly summer) surely this is a good mod to go with electric fan. Only mention as i'm planning to go electric aswell, and i'm no mechanic but no room under bonnet and the air going right over the engine must be good, for cooling and connectors.
