Just having no luck with cars!! Had a few issues with my golf so finally got all the niggle sorted as it goes back in a month so picked it up and on the way home heard a massive bang so pulled up only to fine my rear offside alloy has a big slice in it and the tyre was fooked, walked back up the road and theres a big grid sticking up out the road!! Had to change to the noddy wheel in the pissing rain and getting a new alloy on saturday!! Mike

aye i do alright BUT changes are on the very close horizon :confused: the business announced yesterday that there going from 3 regional mangers to 1, from 3 regional sales managers to 0, 22 general managers to 10 and the sales force is being split into new business and account managers AND possibly reduded in size :( so ive just blown all my savings on a car for work only to find out that my job (again) is under threat, dont get me wrong i would be suprised due to the area i cover if theres anyone else that would even want my area but eyyou never know whats around the corner!!! happy days LOL Mike

No i get an extra £5k a year in my wages to cover a car or i get £5k a year to go towards a car with the lease company, basically we can get what ever we want whether its a porsche or corsa :) but obviously you pay anything over £5k a year if you go over your budget but you also get anything back extra in your wages that you dont spend :) Obviously the £5k is fully taxed but with the tax i will save and i have worked out i can run my new car on about 7-8 pence per mile and i get 40 pence :cool: so i should do ok LOL Be a shame as ive always had new cars every year or two but this time its a several year old car but hey ive a mortgage the size of thrid world debt so i need all the money i can get :p

Sod it i'm going on the PS3 to kick some yank butt on FOM ;)

Yes folks, ive hung up my sports car gloves for a while and pick up my new car over the weekend which ive bought for work as my company car is going back so i can rape them on the PPM and car allowance :cool: Dont get me wrong the car is nice but its no sports car LOL Hmmmm Renault Laguna 2.2 DTi Initiale Estate :smash: :rofl: 150 bhp of pure diesel power but it does have sat nav, leather seats, electric everything and most of all its reliable :p Not even 35 yet and ive got a diesel estate :D

Sorted :) Rang the sparky who did the electrics on my kitchen and he came round 5 minutes after i called him as he was passing, sorted it in 5 minutes and didnt charge me :cool: :D So i gave him some beer money anyway ;) Just need to fix the lights up again now :hyper: Thanks for all your help Mike

i presume changing the map sensor wiring didnt work?? did you try putting the maf back on and switching it off on the ecu? stick with it bud Mike

Right had a new kitchen fitted a few weeks ago and we had 2 seperate lights in the kitchen so the sparky wired them so they both came on together from either light switch and all was well. Until We came to fit the new light fittings!! The first one went up fine, normal wires, black, red and earth so wired them up and fitted up the light.....going great guns now Or so i thought. Took the second light fitting down and jesus!! how many wires. theres 4 feeds, 3 being the normal, red, black and earth, another being blue, yellow, red and earth. Connected them as per what was there (or what i thought) and bingo we have lights :) but there on all the time :( Any help appreciated or do i call an electrician?? i'm pretty good with electrics but i dont think i would be comfortable with this?? also tbh unless they change the rules, unless you have a serious machine ie can run under 10s 1/4 mile, do 190+ in 1 mile and also handle like a *******o then theres not much point as you wont even get any points :( too many tuners cars in there nowadays but hopefully they will get the message that people want to se different cars and not just skylines, scoobies and evo's which will pretty much be all you see this year :( i personnally want to see the cars which have been tuned in someones back yard with limited funds but it goes like the clappers!! may favorite car was that white maestro turbo and theres a fiesta turbo which can do a 11s 1/4 180bph and handle well, thats what its all about but dozens of cars from abbey motorsport that have £100k spent on it and if someting breaks, its fixed by a full team of mechanics and back running. My original yellow peril i made about £8k but it did have some really nice bits and a newly built engine with trust pistons and rods etc My last project car i ended up with about £20k, not a bad return on the £35k i spent :cry:

i know denso make injectors for HKS, not sure if they do for nismo?

OR buy a 350 with a super charger or a twin turbo kit :D

and charge you more for all the brews and biscuits vinz had to cover his costs :D on a serious note i bet the car feels much better as well ;) money well spent as it can save you hundreds on tyres etc Mike

Your better with a dual solonoid ie newer ones, try to stick to the better makes and depending on your knowledge stick to the ones which are easier to setup so the HKS is the easiest then the greddy ones then blitz then the apexi, all do a good job but for the price i would say the greddy profec b2 is about the best. for the turbo timer make sure you buy one with a 300zx loom then it plugs straight in no messing :) Mike

aye she's no puppy now LOL not sure how pics ended up on there of her?? i have more pics of the beast on http://www.putfile.com/kirbz ;) My main problem is time, i work full time and when i'm not doing my day job i'm arsing with 300zx's LOL so i just dont really have the time to sit down and do it, also i can knock together something basic but i wanted it a little better than that :) Mike
