Thanks for your responses. The cheque wasn't blank and was already pre-populated with my name and amount etc. Cant find any details on line for the company it is from and am at a complete loss! I called Lloyds TSB as I know the branch that it is from as it is printed on the cheque, they wouldnt tell me anything! I know there is no such thing as a free lunch, but is there anything I can do prior to sticking it into my account to cover my arse?

I went home at lunch to check the post and there was an envelope addressed to me (funny that at my own house), there was nothing in the envelope except a cheque for £4,500?????? What should I do? very confused?

It will be a deterrent but not sure how good it will be, will have to test it! Wanted it for the remote start really as its baltic in the mornings!!

Seen some bodykits on eBay for around £289. Anyone ever bought one? They look mint in the pics!

Are they worth it? Was quoted £367 for a 24month warranty (£2500) claim limit per individual claim? Covers everything except bodywork. Seems pretty good to me for a 15 year old car and think I would get my monies worth!
