the motorway run I converted, the 60-70 per £10, is in KM

43 miles for £10. That is good for these?

I think my MPG is crap, what are your thoughts? On a recent motorway run I did 350 miles for £60. Around town though I get 60-70KM for £10? Is this right or not?

Any chance of a talk through on how to clean the box and change strainer etc as per DTA's advice?

It's weird, i just revs a bit then takes off?? maybe it has something to do with overdrive!! Only just had a new box in!

Is it me or just my car!! When I go round an island and accelerate while going round, there is hesitation, never any other time? Does it have something to do with the gear box oil sloshing about?

Just returned! Put £60 in the tank and managed to do 550 kilometers, what is that MPG? She drove down lovely, not a problem at all, part from the tax disc flying out of the car on the M62 cos I had the roof off and the holder fell off!!!! Only taxed her last month!

Car is a 1992 N/A Jap Import. Imported in 2003, now got 59K on the clock (miles). My question is, I am driving to blackpool tomorrow from nottingham (120 miles) and obviously back again. I am looking to change the cam belt but need to know, do Jap folk generally look after their motors as I do not know if it has been changed or not? What are the chances that it has been, being an import?

Driving up to blackpool at weekend from nottingham in the Zed. 121 miles apparently. Anyone know roughly how much it will cost each way in fuel on a 1992 Jap Import N/A?

Reset the ECU today for 2 hours and now everything fine? No more stalling, how weird! Maybe the ecu wasnt reset when I had the new gearbox in and it was trying to talk to my "old" gearbox ecu and not the new one.

I assume the gearbox going wasnt related? Just want to get it fixed, may adjust the base idle see if that helps!

in case it matters, it doesnt do it half as much when the A/C is on and the revs are higher!

can anyone tell mw where the sensors are and which to clean? just had the auto box out twice, dont want to have to do it again! cant afford it for a start! anyone in notts who can take a look.

can anyone tell me where the sensors are that may require cleaning. Just want to cover everything before i go down the mechanic route. Also how do you fix the torque converter or check it.

Just had my autobox fixed and the car is great, only one problems! RPM!! Every now and again when braking and stopping hard the engine loses revs and stalls, this does not happen all the time, only occasionally! Also, the revs seem to fluctuate up and down by maybe 200-300RPM. Any thoughts.

to mickey at zed works. Finished my gear box and the car drives like new. Zed works comes highly recomended from me.

Heard it a few times now, a very faint beeping sound at high speed, definately a digital sound and now the "car" making the noise. Car is 1992 N/A Jap Import. Thoughts?
